Good Monday morning!!!

How was your weekend everybody? Mine was pretty plain as I was still fighting my swollen angina ( read half of my face ), but today I woke up feeling and looking much better, so I will soon head out of the flat to take care of all of the errands that I have to do for today.

Last Friday, I have received the costume which I have ordered for the upcoming photo shoot this weekend and I can’t wait to shoot again, it’s always so special and inspiring and always gives me new ideas for other photo shoots.

Good morning everyone!

I’m writing you from my bed, not just because it’s around 8am, but also because I got quite sick over the last weekend and it’s been just getting worser every day. I have a viral infection, fever and my right side angina is enormous in size now. It’s so swollen and it hurts so much 🙁

Today is the first day of New York Fashion Week and so far, ever since I started my blog, I’ve been informing you about this fashion week with the roundups of my favourite collections/ designers. I’m not sure if I can handle this task right now, but I will try my best 🙂

Hello to all of you my dear readers and hello to a new week. I can’t believe that it’s already February as it feels that New Year’s Eve was a week ago.

It’s been very cold and snowy in Helsinki and I’m so looking forward to the warmer and sunnier days. Spring, please come fast! I’m missing walking outside in the forest and enjoying the sunshine. All of the stores which I like just got the new collections and everything screams “Spring” to me, from the home decor items to shoes to clothes. I couldn’t help but buy few things and store them safely in my closet 🙂

On my last week’s trip to Zagreb, I did some shopping and this sweatshirt is one of the things I got for myself. MrSteve is the name of the brand and they make fun/ sarcastic great quality t-shirts and sweatshirts. My sweatshirt says “I love Karl” as in Karl Lagerfeld, but there were other sweatshirts at the store with “Without Yves”, “Prada not war” and similar quotes.

Well hello Wednesday! You definitely came fast 🙂 I have tons of errands to do and every day is filled with stress, but everything is easier to handle when I start my morning with a workout at the gym which is what I did this morning.

Right now I’m in the middle of scouting for the props, models and locations for the upcoming 7 photo shoots which I will have to do until the mid of April and then the photos will go in print. The exhibition in Helsinki will happen in the beginning of May. I will keep you posted more about the dates in case that any of you will be in Helsinki then.

Good early Monday morning! I woke up quite early today, because I’m dropping off my daughter at the kindergarten and then I’m going straight to the gym. Morning gym time is always the best, at least for me. I always have the most energy and motivation in the morning and a good workout always sets my day in the right tone.

My weekend was all about unpacking my suitcases from the trip to Zagreb and washing/ drying tons of clothes which have piled up in last 10 days. I hope that your weekend was more fun and interesting than mine 🙂

Zagreb diary – Days 3&4

My short but lovely trip has come to an end and tomorrow is the time to go back home to a super freezing Helsinki. I haven’t missed that crazy cold at all, but I’m happy to go back home, finish the renovation (finally) and start decorating and organising the apartment.

Last two days were such a blast in Zagreb! I went to numerous places and have been walking for hours and hours. I can definitely feel it in my legs now 🙂 I have checked out National theatre, cathedral, famous St. Mark’s church and Croatian parliament, Museum of broken relationships ( the coolest place ever ), Stone gate, etc. When it comes to food, I didn’t know that Zagreb has such an amazing array of wonderful restaurants. There’s everything for everybody! I have enjoyed eating my lunch at restaurants Carpaccio and Kisha, as much as I did enjoy in my deserts at Aida and Amelie cake cafes.

Zagreb diary – Days 1&2

Hello everybody! Here’s a little diary and breakdown of first two days spent in Zagreb. I’ve been travelling most of the 1st day, so big part of the trip was all about spending time in the air and at the airports. I’ve found a new favourite lunch place at Frankfurt airport – Deli Bros. They make delicious and fresh food which was perfect for me since I never eat the airplane food.

Hello my dear readers from Zagreb, Croatia! I have landed safely and I’m super tired after hours of travelling/ two flights, but I’m very excited to explore the city and take care of some business too. I will write more about my “adventures” tomorrow since I’m so ready to go to sleep, but I wanted to share an interior post with you.

As you know from previous posts, my flat is being renovated (almost there) and I can’t wait to furnish it with all the new furniture and style it completely different than it was until recently.

Good Thursday everyone!!

I’ve been a bit quiet on my blog lately. I feel that this year started way too hectic for me + my flat still looks like a big dumpster thanks to all the renovation that is taking longer than what I have thought it would. All of my things are either in boxes or in some messy corner inside these 80 square meters. It’s easy to loose your inspiration when it comes to clothing, so I just put on the first thing I find in the morning and try that the outfits don’t look completely miss-matched. Next week I’ll be on a trip to Zagreb so I will have more time and inspiration to post new interesting posts, so bare with me for a few more days 🙂
