When a sweet couple, Simon and Annika had a dream about a restaurant where all of their friends would like to hang out, something small but vibrant with the good atmosphere, delicious food and their favorite music, little did they knew that the dream was about to come true very soon!?
Good Sunday morning everybody! It’s snowing and it’s cold in Helsinki. At times, it feels as if we’re living inside the snow globe. I don’t mind the cold and snow when it’s weekend and I can stay “extra long” in bed and not worry too much about running errands or work.
Hello my dear readers! Here’s one more post from Zagreb, Croatia. Besides my favorite Bistroteka and unique B&B 4 City Windows, I have visited a very much raved about and highly visited restaurant Rougemarin. I’m not a girl that likes to go too much “out of my way” when visiting a new city. Usually, on all of my trips, I try to figure out as many places to visit and dine at that are all nearby where I’m staying at and that I can walk to those places too, so that my use of taxi is minimal or non existent.
Good morning my dear readers! I’m back to Helsinki and I’m already missing South Croatia’s warm weather and sunshine. It’s been really cold in Finland, -25°C to be more precise! I’m pretty much “surviving” my daily life by using the car and/ or by walking under the city through the underground tunnels. That’s the only way to stay warm-ish!
Good morning world! I hope that you’re all safely at home with your family and loved ones, ready for the Christmas celebrations and that you will get to relax and enjoy the end of this year in a good and peaceful spirit.
I dream of sushi, all the time! I have found my “THE” food choice and whenever it’s possible, I go for a sushi date or very rarely do the takeaway sushi. The reason why I don’t do the takeaway often is because I believe that the sushi is at it’s best and is supposed to be eaten right after it’s been prepared by the sushi chef.
Arriving to Helsinki, Finland for the first time about 9 years ago, I was completely in shock of how much I have instantly clicked with a place that I’ve been wanting to visit for so long and at the same time in disbelief of how big cultural differences were between Finland and Croatia, back then my home country.
Good Sunday morning dear readers! How is your weekend going? Are you staying in today or are you off to a brunch/ movies somewhere?
