Aaaand it happened – I caught the flu too 🙁 Yikes! However, the weather has been so nice and warm for the last couple of days that I can’t stand to sit inside the house, so I’m about to get ready and go downtown to do some home decor shopping and maybe I’ll finally find a perfect dress for the reception evening in August at Agora gallery.
Yesterday was a really nice day! I met with one of my friends to discuss about upcoming photo shoots, since we’ll do two of them together, him being the model. We went for lunch to fine dining Italian restaurant Gastone in the city centre and I was impressed with this place. Food was mouthwatering and service was great! Funny thing is that Eros Ramazzotti was sitting almost next table to ours, which was kinda intriguing, but later on I found out that he had a show yesterday evening in Helsinki so it made “sense” that he was in my city 🙂
I woke up to gloomy and foggy weather… It looked really cool and mystical that I got very inspired and started going through new ideas for my upcoming photo shoots. I don’t know what’s the weather like where you guys live, but here in Helsinki it feels more Fall like than Spring, going towards Summer like 🙁 I’m missing the sun and being able to spend lots of time outdoors. It’s been cold and rainy over here and I don’t like it one bit. I’m planning our Summer holidays and I can’t wait to relax by the beach and take a swim in the sea. Aaaahhh… Summer, Summer, my weakest spot 😀
It’s funny how some moments in your life change you for forever and direct whom you’re going to become. One of these little moments which have strongly affected me was when I was little, about age 7 or 8 and when every Summer I went to visit my grandparents in Russia. My grandma was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen and she always paid attention to her looks. She was always dressed nicely, she would comb her hair in a certain way and she would always put on make up no matter if she was just going to go out for a walk or to the farmer’s market, she still always looked so classy and watching her get ready every day was the key for me to make an “agreement” with myself, that I want to be exactly like my grandma when I grow up. To always be a lady, act like one and look like one.
I just came back home from Stockholm and I’m missing it more than ever before. I’m completely in love with that city, it’s just an overwhelming feeling to be there.
I took this trip with my little family, so we went to Peppi Longstocking’s house/ land. Something that was very interesting and what will be on display for only couple of months is ABBA exhibition at Swedish Music Hall of Fame. Even though I’m not and have never been ABBA fan, it was very interesting to see this exhibition which was very inspiring and has revealed almost all the little details behind ABBA and their big success.
It’s such a beautiful and sunny day in Helsinki today! I hope that the same kind of weather is waiting for us in Stockholm since we’re flying there in couple of hours. I think that Stockholm might be very busy these days since there’s World’s Hockey Championship and Eurovision happening at the same time, but our purpose for this trip is to just have a mini holiday, eat some good food, go to ABBA museum and visit couple of our favourite spots.
Hello my dear readers!
What a trip to Croatia it’s been!? It was very short but very intensive, emotional and joyful. I didn’t had any internet connection, but just sometimes when I could catch couple of minutes of WiFi in some cafe, so sorry for the lack of posts. I was visiting my old hometown Sibenik and it was an amazing feeling to see my family, esp. my brothers which I haven’t seen in a year. It was very sunny and warm the whole time of our stay there so we looked for some refreshment in farmers’ market strawberries and local ice cream shops.
Thursday is a good day to travel! Ok, I just came up with that, but I’ve decided to take pretty much a last minute trip to Croatia to visit my family and old friends. Since it’s last minute trip, it will be very short but hopefully very nice one 🙂 I’ll post daily on Instagram and update my blog as usual, so stay tuned.

I don’t know about the rest of you guys, but I can’t sleep properly for a week now 🙁 It’s quite annoying, because I don’t have problems falling asleep, but once I wake up I can’t fall asleep again and it’s usually as early as 5 or 6 am. That sucks, so if you have some good advice on how to have a long and good sleep, let me know 🙂
