How to wear a triangle bag

Cracking the code… We all change and evolve… We’re all different person than the one we’ve been a year ago. I truly believe that I have also lived at least couple of “past lives” and that I will again come back to this Earth in the future in one form or another. You don’t need to be spiritual or even agree with me on this, but don’t you think that a thought of something that was can be given a whole new form and life? 

LOVIA is a Finnish designer name which does exactly that, breathes in a whole new life to something that was not intended to be used in a way that they end up using it. I’m talking about sustainable designs, carefully crafted from leftover leather, sometimes very rarely used or hard to source, let even put into a production where a beautiful new bag or leather garment can be born.

Each product which they create used to have a “different” form and purpose before but LOVIA turns them into the most stylish, high quality bags, jewellery and previously clothes too. Each product also has a unique code by which you can check from their website and find out the DNA of the item that you’re holding.

LOVIA was founded 3 years ago by Outi Korpilaakso who has previously worked as a Stockmann’s in house designer. Her love and passion for fashion and unique design has led her to create her own brand in which she wanted to put her heart and soul together with two friends Tiina and Anniina. Since the very beginning of the brand, it was clear to all three that they wanted to do something different, thought through every single step on how to get to the desired product as well as how to execute with it’s production.

That’s where master Fulvio Galbiati came into the picture, a founder of Clio factory in Italy which is also the same factory where Gucci bags are being made. With over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, Fulvio was the last missing link of LOVIA ladies’ dream of creating something very special and of great quality to come true.

I’m very excited and proud of this collaboration and in the next 3 posts I will show you 3 amazing bags and how to style them. I’m starting with the smallest one, Diamond lamb leather bag in black.

It’s been inspired by the original LOVIA cone jewel which you can see on a zipper on all of the LOVIA bags and as a detail on their jewellery. The bag is made of fine elk leather and it’s a great wristlet bag to bring with you on a date night out.
