Madara Cosmetics: Masks

November 28, 2015

Weekends are the two days when I try to take an extra care of myself and I love to pamper myself with anything, from fine dining, shopping to “beautifying” myself. Beautifying, meaning that I like to take couple of extra steps in my beauty routine for which I usually have no time over the week, like putting facial masks on. I was lucky to be sent two face masks by Madara Cosmetics Finland to test: Detox and Peel. I was just about to buy new face mask so these masks arrived just in time. 🙂

I have previously used many other masks, mostly by Origins and Lush and I found them to work very well for me, so it was challenging to try something new. Both masks were according to my skin type, combination skin with clogged pores, prone to some blemishes with small lines and signs of aging. Let me introduce you to:

BRIGHTENING AHA PEEL MASK

!This mask is not suitable for hypersensitive and fragile skin!

Between these two masks, I have liked this Aha peel mask better, even though I found them both working perfectly for me. I have applied it all over my face, being careful about the around the eye and mouth area. I’ve kept it on until it started to completely dry out and that’s also when a little bit of “tingling” started to happen, which was a sign that the mask has done it’s job and it was time to wash it off. After washing it off, my skin looked more brighter, fresher, pores were unclogged and over all feeling of “cleanliness” was overwhelming. 🙂 Lavender, quince and elder tree extract are the main three ingredients that make this mask so effective.

MUD DETOX MASK

If I can choose “my weapon” then mud masks are one of them. I just love them and I find them to be the most effective for me. I did find the above Peel mask to work better for me, but this mud mask worked wonderfully too on my tired and dull skin. Mud detox mask hydrates your skin, rejuvenates it, detoxifies it with Nordic forest lake mud and it works wonders for acne and blemishes prone skin. It’s recommended to use twice a week for oily and problematic skin to once a week to fight the dullness and tiredness of the skin.
