Good Easter Monday everybody! How is your long weekend going? I hope that you ate well, got some rest and that you had a chance to spend quality time with your family and friends. I have and it did set me up for a good start this week. There’s a lot of work to be done and many errands need to be taken care of, so no time for procrastinating known as daydreaming in my case. π
Happy Spring everybody!!! It surely doesn’t feel like Spring is yet in Helsinki, but we’re getting there, we are.. π I’m super excited about finally being able to pull out lighter clothes from my closet, ditch the Winter boots for many months and start planning all sorts of outdoor activities that I love to do in Spring, such as picnics in the city parks and long strolls all over the city or by the beach.
You might be wondering what does the title of this post even mean?! Superesse means “to survive” in Latin and when you think about that word, it’s such a powerful word. It awakens so many feelings, memories, fighting spirit… At least that’s the case with me!
New week is here and I love the “freshness” that each Monday brings! π How was your weekend? What did you do? I had a relaxing weekend spent with my friends, walking around the city, enjoying the sunshine which finally arrived to Helsinki, went for a dinner date with 3 kids being part of it and have loved every moment of it! I have possibly drooled over my friend’s new bag and I have possibly purchased one too… π
Good morning dear readers! How are you? What did you do over the weekend? Mine was very short in terms of free time and relaxing, but I don’t mind it since it was a very creative and productive weekend! I have also managed to spend some quality time with friends and that is always a wonderful bonus.
YAAAY!! Finally my favorite actor ever since ’97. won an Oscar! π Congratulations to Leonardo DiCaprio for winning that little, golden man statue, he has deserved it since long, long time ago. Have you watched the Oscars? It’s one of my favorite Red Carpet events to date. Ever since I was a little kid, I loved to watch the TV broadcast. Seeing stars arriving to the Oscars in their best outfits/ looks ever was and still is so inspiring!
Zum-zum! My wake up call rings, I look through my window and it’s still pitch black outside… I guess we’re not that closer to Spring as I’ve been hoping for. π It’s only mid of February but it feels great to start a new week with new plans, new work assignments and new adventures, no matter what’s the weather! It’s crazy how much difference a week in one’s life can make!?
Yep! Helsinki is a true Winter Wonderland! Ever since I have returned from my holidays in Croatia, I’ve been facing tons and tons of snow, very low temperatures and it was simply impossible for me to take any outfit photos. Indoor places are usually malls or cafes/ restaurants, there’re always tons of people mingling and the light is somewhat yellowish, so my chances were ZERO in getting a good material for the new outfit post.
They say that creative and artsy souls are always messy people and their bedrooms/ homes/ work spaces are always in some kind of “creative” disorder but they swim wonderfully in their own unorganised world and still get everything done and come through with their plans and final product.
Hello from the other side! π Since my last outfit post, I have arrived to Croatia for work and holidays. I have already visited Split and Zagreb cities, worked on some cool collaborations, met friends and have enjoyed the sunshine as well as an amazing food! Croatia, esp. these two cities have an incredible food scene and prices are very affordable comparing to what I’m usually paying in Helsinki for the same kind of meal.
