Perfect timing… Is there such thing as being in the right place at the right time? I used to believe that there were those “perfect” moments in life that I had to wait for to happen. Those perfect moments, once they happen, my life will make more sense, wishes will come true and everything will fall into place like a perfect Tetris game bricks…ย Continue Reading…
Happy month of May everybody!! How was your weekend? Did you had a nice May Day celebrations? I had a chill weekend which consisted of long walks, “sucking up” all of the sunshine ( weather was incredible ) and having an ice cream by the beach. I went to Sea Life as well since I love the sea world and it’s creatures. ๐ Sea Life always makes me calm…
I love the idea and feeling of new, fresh beginnings and every time, when the 1st of month comes around, I feel that I have a chance to press that invisible “restart” button, sort out my thoughts, have a conversation with my inner being and get a clearer picture of the path I’ll be taking on that month(s).
I feel that the time which we’re given in this life is a gift and a curse at the same time. It’s a gift, because if we use our time right, we can do so much, we can make a big difference in the world eventually and we can def. someday die knowing that we’ve done it and seen it all… But if we don’t use the time that we’ve been given to the max, we’ll always feel somehow “lost”, uncomplished and as if the time just slipped out of our hands. E’ll wake up someday when we’re suddenly 10 years older and will have no idea where did the time in between pass by.
Writing down 5 things I’m thankful for and 5 things that I want to accomplish/ do each month does help me see and feel that I’m using my “fresh start” correctly or they give me perspective on what I could and want to do more of in the next month.
Couple of years ago I had the attitude of “there’s still time” and a lot of days were taken for granted because of that. I only now see that the time we’ve been given is so precious, uncontrollable and it might end tomorrow, so hitting the refresh or restart button every 1st of the month has proven to be a very good thing for me.. It also made me much more humble in sense that I’ve learned to find the beauty everywhere around me, in the smallest of the things. Hitting the restart button made me see that when you do a lot of little, but significant things each month, you’ll end up having a year that will equal the value of 5 years of being “lost in translation”.
Go, hit that restart button today and make this month of May the best one so far. ๐

Hello my dear readers! How are you doing? I’ve been having a very weird, heavy week and I’m pretty much glad that the weekend is here. I’m planning to completely relax, organise my schedule and work for the upcoming week and eat some good food in a company of my friends.
I’m having a huge toothache this morning and it’s not a nice feeling, esp. because I have work assignments the whole day, but I’ll survive by taking some mild painkillers and drinking my chamomile tea. ๐
I can’t believe that this is the last weekend of April?! Next weekend we’ll be celebrating 1st of May already and I’m totally set on having the best Summer ever, so I better start making my plans for that too. Oh! I might have not mentioned you that I’ll be going (in May) to Croatia for my friend’s wedding!! I’m so excited about it and can’t wait to share such a special moment with her and some other dear friends which I don’t see as often as I’d love to.
Do you have any upcoming weddings? How about your Summer plans? Did you start planning already? ๐
I’m sharing 5 favourite photos of this week which I’ve snapped on my Instagram and if you wish to follow my daily adventures, please do follow meย here!!
Ok, ok, I do live in an old building, but it does have an elevator. Nice, old one… With an iron door and a wooden bench, charming one. I never ride that elevator. I live on the 6th floor and I always walk the stairs up, every single day, couple of times a day.
I’m not afraid of elevators ( even though I did get stuck 2-3 times in one of them throughout past 28 years ) but I rather walk the stairs up than take an elevator ride… There’s so much that “happens” on my walk up… Life got a whole another perspective. Now I know that there’s no an elevator to success… There are no shortcuts to “making it” in job, relationships… in life.
The best of times happen on your walk up the stairs. This walk… It might take longer than an elevator ride, it might make your butt cheeks hurt, you might even stop for a moment on your way up to catch a breath, reassess and then keep on walking the mountain of stairs again. True beauty and a key to success in anything lies exactly there, on the wavy and demanding way up. The journey which you decide to walk on every single day and everything that you learn from taking the longer, harder way up ( towards your goal ) is what will make you appreciate ( and cease ) your goal. Once you do reach it, it will give you the feeling and a unique life story that no single elevator ride ever could!
It will teach you survival, it will show you how to fight for your goal, it’ll give you tools and guidance in how to reach it too… Once you do, you’ll then see how the road to that goal has transformed you and opened some new horizons for you, so the road to another goal, dream… success keeps on shaping in the distance and you know that you must keep on moving forward. As long as you do keep on moving forward in life, it means that you’re alive and kicking’. As soon as you stop moving, you’ve signed your death bed papers.
I always say that no matter how much I have done ( and this doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate every single achievement ) I’m only as good as I was yesterday. I’m only as good of a mom as I was up until yesterday, I’m only as good of a photographer as my latest photo, I’m only as good of an influencer as my latest post. Get the picture? Always keep on moving, carving your own path and listen to your own gut on the way… On the way up to your success, with NO elevator ride there.
Have a wonderful Monday my friends! Much love to every single one of you and THANK you for every comment that you leave me here, I read all of them and try my best to answer all of them too. ๐

My love… LOVE… Such a short, yet important and BIG word. A feeling that can move mountains! It’s incredible what pure, real and deep love can do!? I also do know what lack of it can cause… What happened last Friday in Paris, France was absolutely horrible and left me in shock, but what made me even more upset is that the LACK of love, common sense and acting in the name of “religion” took away so many innocent lives. Only 2-3 days before the Paris tragedy, horrible blood was spilt in Beirut… Tomorrow it might be your city and the lives taken might be of somebody whom you LOVE, or even your own…
Good morning my dear readers! How are your doing on this fine Thursday morning? Before I continue on with this post, I have to simply take a moment to write one huge THANK YOU for being the best readers ever!!
Yep! Packing my “life” into boxes once again and taking off into a new adventure. I hope that this is my last packing – unpacking the boxes process in a while to come. It’s been a crazy year so far and most of the time I’ve been living at the hotel rooms and out of the travel bags.
Good morning dear people! The sun is shining in beautiful city of Sibenik and I’m about to do my usual morning rituals such as visiting the Farmer’s Market, sit down for coffee and do some people watching, stroll through the city to my favourite health store and make a nice lunch before I hit the beach.
Well, hello my dear readers!! How are you? How was the weekend? It’s a long weekend here in LA, since we’re celebrating Memorial Day and Monday feels like a Sunday had hungover and decided to sleep over all the way to Tuesday. ๐
