You were meant for me…

May 9, 2015

Cord… Birth cord and belly button… Did you ever pay attention to your belly button in a way that it’s a reminder? A reminder that you came from another life, from another human being. A reminder that you are part of a whole person.

So many times I’ve heard people saying that you can’t choose your parents or family that you’re born into, but more and more I believe in fact that before we’re sent into lives of our parents and families, we choose them while we’re still little angel babies, floating up there somewhere above the clouds. 🙂

About 6+ years ago, one particular blue eyed angel chose me to be her momma and the life the way I knew it up until that day was changed for forever! Million times in those past 6 years one and the same thought crossed my mind : “How did I get so lucky?” How did I get so lucky to have this little angel picked me, silly, full of flaws, weird, (you name it ) woman to be her mom? My daughter is my biggest blessing and happiness that I have ever or will ever experience in my life. Anything she says and does leaves me speechless on daily basis.

Sometimes, I get even ashamed of how much she knows and “feels” for her age, much more than me, when I was already far into my elementary school years. She thought me so much ever since I took her in my arms for the first time. She taught me what is an unconditional love, she took any of my selfishness away, she thought me patience… Sharing day-to-day life with her, I see now that she was meant for me. She was my little messenger of love and light that I was missing BIG time until she arrived.

So my beautiful little girl, this ode is to you. Someday, very soon, when you’ll be able to read this letter I want you to know how special and kind you are. I want you to know that I feel you and hear you even when you don’t say a word. I know when you’re happy, I know when you’re sad, I know when you’re scared, I know when you’re in trouble and I know when you’re up to something silly too :). I hope that you will always know that I am and will always be so proud of you. I love your brilliant mind and pure soul.

"Mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child." Happy early Mother's Day to me.

“Mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.” Happy early Mother’s Day to me.

I hope that you will always know that I will be there for you when the lights are down and when the world will be too cold and unapologetic… I will always listen, I will always caress, I will always do my best to be even half the blessing to you that you are to me.

Whatever you will do and wherever you will go when you grow up, know that I will always support you, even if that means that my heart -> you, will be miles away from me I will always let you live your dreams and cheer for you more than I ever had anybody do the same for me.

Love,

mom

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL OF THE MOMS IN THIS WORLD!
