5 for Friday

Friday always seems to come faster than I’m ready for it! They say that the older you get, the days seem to fly by in a blink of an eye and I… I have to agree with this theory. I can’t believe that end of the year is here and that we have experienced the first snow already AND the festive season is in it’s full swing! Pre-Christmas parties are taking place “left and right”, the city has been decorated in Christmas ornaments and lights… Some people have even put up their Christmas trees!!

I can’t but feel a little bit anxious about this year coming to it’s end… I always start to question myself if I’ve accomplished everything I wanted to in a year time, did I progress personally and professionally… Did I set the “good ground” for the year ahead?!

There’re still 1 and half months to squeeze the maximum of the year 2016 and I sure will try my best to have great and satisfying endings to each remaining week.

Let’s take a look at some of my favourite shots from my Instagram feed and top 5 things I’d like to highlight out of the past two weeks. 🙂

1.) BROTHER – SISTER TIME

My ultimate favourite moment was and still is spending time with my brother. He arrived a week ago and I can’t explain how happy I am to have him visiting me! He’s grown into a fine, young man and I’m proud of him being the best ( together with my younger brother of course ) brother ever! I’m also happy of a special uncle – niece bond he’s got with my daughter. We’ve been doing lots of fun stuff together and I can’t wait to do everything we’ve planned for the days ahead.

2.) DREAMS COMING TRUE 

Incredibly inspiring person, dear friend of mine served as a “proof” of how just a little idea resting in the back of your head, in only couple of years time can grow into something big and remarkable – a dream coming true! Everybody, take a look at THE HAPPY HAMLET, one of the most gorgeous, romantic, breathtaking premises I yet have to see with my own eyes. Beautiful piece of heaven, bed & breakfast in the Southern France is now open to public and ready to start receiving it’s first guests! Take a look and treat yourself a vacation or romantic getaway of your life. 🙂

3.) WORKING & “SCORING”

Working, influencing, making old deals “prolonged” and settling down the new deals always makes me really excited, happy and inspired to do even more and better in the future. It’s always such a great “working mood boost” when I receive great feedback from the companies/ representatives about my work for them and wanting to continue our collaborations. Must be that I’m doing something correct and knowing that I’ve been self – thought about everything I’m working as, makes me at least a tiny bit proud of myself and what I’ve accomplished by far. I know that it’s a small, tiny victory for some ( esp. the industry giants ) but it’s a big win in my world of self-tacomplishemnts. 🙂

4.) SUSHI / JAPANESE LOVER TIME 

My most favourite food in the whole wide world – SUSHI!!! I can’t live through a week without eating some sushi and I’m very picky when it comes to sushi and there’re only 2-3 places in Helsinki which I can go to for a great sushi. I’m SO intrigued by the whole sushi making tradition, how long it takes to become a real sushi master, how something so “simple” is actually really hard to make and is at the same time so inspiring and creative. Also, any Japanese food, traditions, shops, teas, history books, etc. are of my high interest and hopefully, someday, I’ll be able to visit Tokyo and make one of my “small life goals” come true and ticked off my bucket life list. 🙂

5.) BEAUTY PRODUCTS

I’ve been restocking on some of my beauty / skin care holy grail products and can’t stress enough how important it is to take care of your skin, no matter which age you are. It’s never too early to start taking care of your face/neck/ hands as those are the places which age the fastest and are the ones that need a bit of extra care with products that are of course appropriate to your age. My ultimate favourites are products by LaMer, Estee Lauder and Clarins. Some MAC and Chanel products go a long way too, esp. when it comes to make up.
