Good Monday morning dear people! How are you all doing? To my American readers, I’d like to wish a happy Independence Day and I hope that your weekend was filled with festivities and in company of your families.

I had a fabulous weekend and lovely moments like those always remind me of what’s truly important in life and how little it takes to be happy and how sometimes “nothing” seems to be enough to fulfil you. Feeling good in your own skin, being surrounded with the dear people like friends and family and also having a beautiful, sunny weather are three main factors for me to feel like the happiest girl in the world. We have celebrated my friend’s birthday, went for ice cream by the beach with another and then for a lunch in the best Japanese in the city with our third friend whom I sometimes call my “adopted mom” since she’s much older than me and she gave me so much love and motherly care that I can’t ever give back in one lifetime.

Back on Friday I’ve received keys to my new home and I’m so excited to call it my own. I’ve been for over a month now living out of my travel cases and it feels great to have a space where I can put my own things, important papers, souvenirs, books, etc. I won’t be yet revealing much what exciting things future holds for me and where’s this new home o’mine but you’ll know everything in the near future. For now, just please bare with me through this busy transitional time. 🙂

I’d like to take a moment and bring us back to an end of my Croatian summer holidays about a week and half ago. I was checking through my favourite fashion and lifestyle magazine and I saw a story about this one new and very promising Croatian designer who has his own brand called “BORSHA by Mala radnja dizajna”. Photo of their bags made me very interested to check a bit more online and via their FACEBOOK page I have decided to contact them and order two bags. Approaching them and getting an immediate answer was easy-peasy. They’ve been of great assistance and very fast in making and shipping those gorgeous bags to me. When they’ve arrived, I was so excited to open the box and see them in person. They were even more prettier and unique than what I thought after seeing them only on photos. Thank you BORSHA for giving a nice breeze of fresh air to Croatian design scene, I hope that people will recognise your talent and that in time you’ll expand beyond the Cro borders too. 🙂
