Weak

Good Monday morning everybody!! How are you all doing? I hope that the Winter didn’t strike you as cold as it did here in Helsinki. Almost over the night the temperatures have dropped down for 7-10 degrees and we also got the first snow. Even though it melted away really quickly, it was still nice to be reminded that there’re only 4 weeks left until the Christmas. Yesterday was an opening of so called Christmas street in the city centre, when all of the Christmas lights and decorations were put up and the whole city now looks incredibly charming and festive!

I have already bought a lot of Christmas presents and an extra excitement for the holidays arose pretty high after buying tickets to Croatia and knowing that after 7 years, we’ll be finally spending Christmas together with my Croatian side of the family! I can’t wait for that, it makes me incredibly happy to even only think about it. 🙂

Did you do any Christmas presents shopping? Whom do you find it the “hardest” to find presents for?

I just read something that shook me well this morning… “If you think that you have nothing to be thankful for, check your pulse.” That… That’s the pure, naked truth! I definitely had the most weirdest, challenging, transformative and hardest year of my life, but at the same time I had the most versatile, beautiful, magical and self-growth year ever! I’m a very sensitive person and no matter how well I might look that “I have it all together.” on the outside, there might be a big “I’m so weak and tired of life.” party going on, on the inside.

After seeing all of the horrible news of what’s been happening all over the world lately, just the luxury of being able to wake up and feel your own pulse made me realise that there’s so much to be thankful for, so much still to do, feel and experience on daily basis. The easiest is to let the weakness and depression prevail… If it does so for too long, you might never dig yourself out of that hole…

For the next four weeks, I’ve promised to myself to live every single day the best I can, be thankful for every little thing and smile, smile, smile because smile gets you far, even if you have to fake one, do it until you make it and until it’s the most genuine, sweetest smile your face has ever seen!

If you’re still breathing and your pulse is going on strong, it means that you’re alive and the end is not here and not now! What is here now is the fight for an amazing tomorrow so let’s rejoice in this magical time of the year and build our dreams so high that next year will be the best year of our lives so far! 🙂
