Look at that!! I woke up and somehow, it happens to be Sunday, end of the week(end) and I have a whole new set of cravings… Food cravings that is! 😀
I grew up eating traditional Russian and Croatian dishes, not really exploring much or being exposed much to any other type of cuisine until I was almost close to my 20s! I remember my first time entering the Thai restaurant and having NO clue on what to expect that will show up on my plate and not even being able to imagine how the food will taste like.
I was lucky to have a little bit of guidance by my company, so I have ordered Tom Kha Kai and shrimp Pad Thai. Both were absolutely delicious and I was completely amazed by the new flavours which I got to discover back then! Ever since ( and it’s been about 7 years now ) I’ve been a huge lover of Thai food and that is my “go-to” takeaway food! Always when I’m lazy and feel like ordering in, something Thai always sounds good to me. 🙂
I don’t even have to mention that I’ve been loving the idea of visiting Thailand in the middle of cold and dark Finnish winters… It would totally help me to fight the winter blues AND to visit the country that has been on my interest list for so long.
All of this being said, I was so happy to order some food through Foodora Finland and it was delivered to me from one of my favourite Thai restaurants in the city Thai Orchid.
The choice this time was: Veggie soup with pak choi and tofu, Tofu pad thai and Spicy beef drunken noodles. All three dishes were so delicious and were licked off of the plate in seconds. 🙂

I love the thai brown noodles. They are the best. I actually grew up with pretty limited cuisine as well, but now I am such a foodie. I love to try different things and like to cook new recipes at home for fun.
My favorite, I wish I had it in front of me right now xx
