Check mate

Zum-zum! My wake up call rings, I look through my window and it’s still pitch black outside… I guess we’re not that closer to Spring as I’ve been hoping for. 😀 It’s only mid of February but it feels great to start a new week with new plans, new work assignments and new adventures, no matter what’s the weather! It’s crazy how much difference a week in one’s life can make!?

I got up, squeezed one lemon’s juice into a cup of warm water, opened up my laptop and have started to check my mails, have replied back on the post comments and right now, as I’m sipping my lemon water, I’m writing this blog post and am feeling quite positive about life… I couldn’t have ever predicted that my life was going to take this kind of turn in which I’ll be working for myself, doing exactly what I love to do and that it was going to be something that will gather my favorite three things : writing, photographing and fashion.

This is a shoutout to all of you my dear, fellow bloggers… I’m far from the best in the business but I’m also very far from where I used to be. Once I’ve come to terms with what I want from myself and this blog, where I’m “going” with all of this and is it really something that makes me inspired and happy to do for a long time in the future, was the moment when it all started to roll and go forward. No matter what’s the job that you’re working at, ask yourself these questions/ think about is it really a job that you like, that inspires you and that you don’t mind spending your time and energy at. If the answer is no, then it’s time to consider to make some changes. If you can’t make them now, then make a plan of how to get there, where you CAN make a difference for yourself and get yourself to the job that you really want to be at. Just know that no matter what you do, if you do it wholeheartedly and do it well you will see that anything you’ll be “up” to will work out and you will reach your goals eventually.

Dream big sweethearts! Dreams do come true and once they do, then you dream a little more and make those dreams come true too. 🙂

Talking about starting Monday on a positive note?! Oh yes!

Let me know what you think of this outfit? I have tried to combine stylish and chic combo for a rainy day. It’s been rainy and cloudy in Helsinki and I haven’t been that creative in my outfits, so this was a mini challenge that I’ve set myself up to and I think that I’ve managed to succeed in it.

P.S. The small white “things” you might see on my clothes were the “snow/rain” drops which of course had to start falling just when we have decided to snap these photos. 😛
