Hello Friday! I’m loving you already, because I’m in a big, thick need of a good and relaxing weekend. I do have to run quite a few errands because I’m having an important and very long Monday with two different photo shoots and settings, so a lot has yet to be done… BUT! I will do my best to have a chilled weekend. I felt like the past 1 and half months were so hectic and filled with so much on my schedule, all the time that I can’t even wrap my head around the fact that my birthday is in less than 2 weeks. Say what?!
I have lots of interesting and exciting collaborations coming to the blog and one of them is really big for me, something I’m very flattered to do and am looking fw to sharing with you soon so do stay tuned and cheer with me because this little blog, space which I use to inspire the people from all over the world by sharing bits and pieces of my life, things, places and people who surround me and through my photography is going in an upright direction and that makes me very happy. 🙂 I’m a one woman band, have always been and most possibly will stay that way too, so whatever you see on this blog has been 100% created and delivered to you by me.
Back to my “5 for Friday” post – I’d like to share 5 of my weekly favourites, as well as some of my favourite photos from Instagram feed. I use Instagram on daily basis, so follow my adventures there. I’ll def. do my best to use Instagram stories more often and add in some videos of me speaking too. 😀
Much love to each one of you, your support is so appreciated. I love reading your comments and I also try to answer to all of them too.
Have a great weekend sweethearts!
1.) DEEP WATER HORIZON – I went to the cinema to see this movie with my friend and I loved it! I don’t remember the news from 2010. when this oil rig explosion happened for real but the movie was fascinating, very realistic ( it’s been inspired by the real happening ) and with great movie effects. One of my all time favourite actors – Mark Wahlberg plays the main role and once again, delivered it!
2.) FIGS and PRUNES – I’ve been munching on fresh figs like there’s no tomorrow! 😀 My grandpa has fields of fig trees back in Croatia but here in Finland, it’s so hard to get any and when they do arrive here, the season of being able to find them at stores and eat them fresh is so short. Another favourite of my, naturally sweet treats are prunes! I have recently bought a bag of them and it’s hard to resist not to eat the whole bag in one sitting. 😀
3.) FALL COLORS – Oh yes! Helsinki looks like a movie scenery whenever I step out of my apartment. All of the city parks and greenery have changed colours and the beauty is surreal! Every corner of my city looks like a wonderful painting, it’s so inspiring and I’m LOVING the power and endless beauty of nature… It has such a calming effect on me, it’s surreal. This time of the year we call “ruska” in Finland.
4.) LUSH – I haven’t been to Lush store in a long time and couple of days ago I went to one spontaneously and came back home with two mighty products. One of the products was already tested and very much loved Mask of magnaminty, but this time, it’s “improved” version without any chemicals/ parabens, completely plant based. Oh how I love this mask, it’s one of the best deep cleansing masks I have ever tired and it does the job so well while being very kind to the skin, so I will be using this product until the very last drop. 🙂 Another product which I got and was completely a new one to me is a washing face soap/ gel – Kalamazoo and I got hooked on it instantly! It cleanses face so well, the buttery and hydrating feeling + the pineapple scent after you wash the soap away and pat dry your face is divine! I can HIGHLY recommend you to try these two products.
5.) CAPTURE YOUR STYLE – This one is yet to become a favourite, a book which I have ordered and can’t wait to receive it and give it a “spin”! If you know anything about blogs, fashion & lifestyle in particular, you must have heard of name Aimee Song and how influential, inspiring and admiring she is! Her work speaks volumes for itself and it’s crazy to think that originally, she’s an interior designer and was just a “random” next door girl who started her blog from a small apartment in LA to become one of the most richest and successful bloggers ever!

Hello dear, i’m happy that you are enjoying fall so far. I am going to take a look at Capture your style, the title sounds interesting. And actually could i ask you about the coat you are wearing on the second photo?
I am currently looking for nice fall/early winter coat in grey color, and this one looks so beautiful on you.
Hope you will have a nice relaxing weekend (:
Hello Kate! Thank you for your comment. The coat is by Max Mara, but it’s a year old one, but
I’m sure that they might have something similar in their latest collection too. 🙂 Have a great
weekend!
Thank you very much for your reply, I will take a look at Max Mara. (:
