5 for Friday

Good Friday morning everybody! Besides already being on holidays in Croatia, today is an official holiday day so I won’t be chit-chatting for too long as I still have some of my best friends to meet, prepare and eat a family lunch and possibly take a walk outdoors in the evening if the weather allows.

You would think that a girl who’s born Russian and has lived for the past 10 years of her life in cold and dark Helsinki would have “adjusted” to the cold weather and it wouldn’t surprise me as much, but NOPE! I’m still a sucker for sun and I can’t function when it’s super cold and windy outside like it is today in Sibenik city.

I’m bringing you a roundup of my favourite snaps from Instagram feed from this past week. Zagreb trip was short but I had a blast and am now happy to finish my holidays with a quality family time down south. Yummy seafood, friends and walks down the memory lane await! Also, some Croatian wine and delicacies shopping is “on the schedule” too since I have some of my favourite people waiting in Helsinki to test and try those. 😀

1.Spending wonderful “foodie” time in Zagreb discovering it’s gastro scene.

2.Meeting my childhood friend I’ve been friends with for 18 years.

3.Seeing the sun shining and enjoying the walks through Zagreb city centre.

4.Making plans for the near future.

5.Travelling down to South Croatia to spend time with my family.
