Good Sunday everybody!! I hope that you’re enjoying your weekend and recharging the batteries for the new working and exciting week that’s coming. I’m so tired from work, my back is aching ( nothing too serious or that a nice massage can’t fix 🙂 ) and therefore I’ll take this day off to just chill and do minimum of home errands and minimum physical activities too, so that I can rest before a new “set” of long hours of cooking and prepping at kitchen at work and sitting in front of my laptop doing the blogging work.
Good Friday everybody! This week flew by in a “minute” for me and I can’t believe that it’s already a weekend which for me means still two full days of crazy work and then some nice, relaxing and super lazy Sunday to recharge my batteries, eat some pizza and enjoy the time with my family.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a recipe here on my blog so I thought to share one of my favourite pasta recipes to date. I’m a huge pasta fan and I’ve grown up on pasta prepared in million ways. Being raised in a small city on the Croatian seaside, which was heavily influenced by Italy and Italian cuisine, I can proudly say that I had a privilege of eating the best pastas through my whole childhood so I have a very fine taste when it comes to how I like my pastas and sauces that come with it.
Good morning everybody! My holidays in Croatia have come to an end and past three weeks have been absolutely amazing. I got to relax, recharge and get rid of nastiness of jet lag from LA. Lots of sun, some swimming, being by the sea every day and different day-to-day life was just what I needed after hustle and bustle of LA’s streets.
Good Thursday morning everybody! I’ve decided to share my experience of Corto Maltese restaurant in Split which I have visited last week and I found it as a great spot to chill, eat good, home cooked food and do some people watching in the heart of Split city.
Oh hi Friday! You surely came quite fast and I ain’t complaining! The days in Croatia always fly by really fast and there’s always too little hours in a day to do everything I have envisioned to.
Good Monday morning!!
I’m happy to wake up to another sunny day and fresh, clean air! One thing that I have learned to appreciate while living in LA was the luxury of “inhaling” fresh air. That’s one of these small things that you take for granted without even thinking of how crucial they are until you don’t have them.
Good morning my dear readers! I’m sorry about couple of days of silence here on the blog, but it was very much needed. After having crazy stressful times just before leaving the LA, then an overseas flight ( with a little kid on board ), arriving to Helsinki and straight going into business meetings with the biggest jet lag ever and complete lack of sleep, I have finally landed in Croatia 3 days ago and I just couldn’t phrase a normal sentence up until this morning.
Hello everybody! How are you doing? Any nice plans for this weekend? If you find some time on your hands and feel like experimenting a little bit in the kitchen, here’s a recipe for my basil pesto. It’s the best pesto I have ever tasted and one bunch of this pesto lasts for quite a long time when preserved in the fridge. I like to make a very simple, but great dish with it – pesto pasta with cherry tomatoes and usually I put some crumbled feta or goat’s cheese on the top.
