Good morning my dear readers! I’m sorry about couple of days of silence here on the blog, but it was very much needed. After having crazy stressful times just before leaving the LA, then an overseas flight ( with a little kid on board ), arriving to Helsinki and straight going into business meetings with the biggest jet lag ever and complete lack of sleep, I have finally landed in Croatia 3 days ago and I just couldn’t phrase a normal sentence up until this morning.
I have always been known to “load” tons of tasks and filled schedules from one day to another and barely ever giving myself a break. I’m usually always prone to feeling guilty, lazy and am all the time “scared” that I’m not turning around in the same speed/ pace as the rest of the Planet Earth. Silly me! Taking a well deserved rest, letting yourself recharge your batteries, get your body and mind balanced out after a long flight and drastic change of time zones is something that shouldn’t be questionable, but mandatory! We’re all here and there just too hard on ourselves and are “whipping” our resistance to the core… Or am I the only masochist in this case? 🙂
I’m now staring at the most beautiful sunrise from my mom’s balcony while writing this post. The birds are chirping, barely any noise is coming from the street, the air is fresh and clean… This is life I think to myself! This is what it means to be and feel free… Free from any visible or invisible chains that keep us away from leading our lives in the most quality way possible.
To be honest, I did catch a slight flu too and am going to be meeting tons of friends as well as spending time with the relatives and of course here and there doing some business meetings but I won’t be slacking on the new posts, that I promise because after all, I can’t ( and don’t want to ) get rid of my workaholic manners and I do love to write and share small bits and pieces of my life and style with you. This is my public diary, happy place, spot where I love to communicate with you, my dear reader whom I maybe will never meet in reality but I love the fact that no matter where we come from, how old we are or what’s our life’s situation, some things unite us and connect us at the same time in the same “place”. So, stay tuned for many photos and posts to come! Croatia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and I can’t wait to share my Summer adventures with you. 🙂
