Who doesn’t love a good, old kimono? I feel like every time when Spring arrives, I rediscover my love for kimonos since they’re so easy but a very stylish piece to wear. Just throw it over a simple tee, pair of jeans and you’re good to go. If you decide to “up” your look with some statement jewellery, you’ll def. give your simple, casual outfit a very unique touch.
Dreams… We all dream at night, but not all of us remember what we have dreamt about after we wake up in the morning. I always had very vivid dreams, rarely “good” ones, very often disturbing ones, known as nightmares.
What a Tuesday!? I had such a “weird” but beautiful and very inspiring day. You know these days, when totally unexpected, so many things get cleared out and you have much better vision of what exactly you need to do in order to take the next step in the right direction.
Well hello my dear readers! How are you doing? Did you have a good weekend? Besides all of the lovely comments that you leave me on my outfits, I love hearing about your days and such, so please do feel free to write about your weekend if you feel like sharing. 🙂
Aaaand, the sun is back in LA!! Yay! That rainy day was very well appreciated but I just have to be a little bit selfish and say that I totally didn’t miss the cold and rainfall. Sunny, warm weather is what I need the most right now. Finland made me have this HUGE and constant craving for natural D vitamin. 🙂 It’ll take time to “balance” it all out. 😀
Today was a hard day… But at the same time inspiring and “enlightening” one. It’s been a little bit over a month since I’ve picked my 5 travel cases and moved all the way to another continent, to a country and city that I have never visited before and knew very little about. After a month of constant sun shining and warm weather, today was the first chilly and rainy day in LA. To be honest, it’s been pouring outside and I’m glad that I had that luxury of choice to stay inside and just “be” at home.
Happy Easter Monday everybody! How are your holidays? I hope that you’re on a long weekend break and that you had possibility to spend your time with your families and friends. I had a very confusing Easter this year, because it was nothing like I used to have it before… I would either spend it in Croatia or in Finland and always surrounded with family and relatives, but this time, in LA that wasn’t possible so I have tried to just live this day the best I could and try not to be too melancholic about some past times and traditions…
It’s Thursday evening AND it’s 1st of April!? Say what? Nope, it can’t be that it’s been a month since I have arrived to LA?! This month literally flew by right in front of my eyes. Whole March was all about huge, life changing moments, filled with stress, happiness, really bad jet lag, being scared, being on a natural high, couple of really good cries, exploring the streets of LA and much more… As you can see, it was filled with lots of highs and lows which were plentiful and sometimes hard to deal with.
Look at that sushi t-shirt!? Isn’t it super cute and totally made for me? I’m a huge sushi/ Japanese cuisine lover and if you take a scroll through my Instagram feed, you won’t be surprised to see many snaps of sushi lunches and dinners that I had enjoyed way too often. Not good on the sodium side, but who cares when the food is out of this world delicious and somehow suits my tastebuds perfectly.
Can you believe that it’s the end of week already? I just don’t know how does the time fly by so fast and I also can’t wrap my head around the fact that in a week it will be exactly a month since we’ve arrived to LA and a whole new life chapter has begun!
In a nutshell, I’ve been loving living in LA for the past three weeks. This city is absolutely inspiring, the weather is amazing and everywhere I went to, I have only met super friendly and sweet people. I’m thankful for every moment that I have spent here and I can’t wait to see what the future brings and which amazing things I’ll do and more lovely people that I will get to meet.
