Good morning Helsinki! I came back home yesterday from Croatia and right away had temperature shock. It was almost 20 degrees less in Helsinki. It felt weird to have to wear my jacket/ blazers again 😛
Last two days in Croatia were bitter-sweet. There’s still so much to look forward to this summer, but it was hard to say byes to my family and also to leave the sea,sun and beach life behind.
What a great Summer holiday it’s been in Croatia!? The weather has been absolutely amazing, so I got a chance to enjoy the sun, sea and fresh air to the fullest.
Every day flew by just like that and I wish I could stay here longer. Luckily there’re still two full days of holidays here, so I’ll do my best to use them 100%. When you live in a country that does not have many sunny days and for 6 months your surroundings are very dark, cold and snowy, you start to appreciate and love Summer even more!
Good Monday morning everyone! Here’s an outfit which I wore yesterday and will re-wear today 🙂 Yesterday’s morning was reserved for Dispecable me 2 cartoon and I loved it, it was so sweet, at times bit too scary for my little one but still really a great family cartoon.
Afternoon was spent in Vodice, short sightseeing, ice cream stop and I have also visited my friend’s own little souvenir shop “Simun”. It’s such a small but unique souvenir shop which had so much to offer, so I ended up buying almost all of the presents for friends and family back in Finland.
Time really flies by so fast, esp. when you’re having a good time! This holiday was just what I needed, lots of sun, sea, fresh air and many hours of sleep. We went to newly opened Aquarium in my old hometown Sibenik and it was such a pleasant experience. Even though the city is small, this lovely little Aquarium can compete with some aquariums/ Sea Lifes which I’ve seen around the Europe.
Also, one of these days we’ve played mini golf and of course I won, just like I do every year 😀 It was so much fun and I’m planning on doing it again next week.
Such a beautiful, sunny and some people would say hot day today, but I couldn’t be more happy about the heat since I live in a place where heat rarely exists. This morning I met with my old childhood friend and it was such a great moment to catch up with her.
Whole afternoon was once again spent by the beach and swimming in the sea. We also played a round of mini golf and I won 🙂
2 days in Croatia, flew by super fast! Both days we didn’t do much, except just walking around in the city, shopping for local food, eating my mom’s home cooked meals and most importantly, having great beach time.
I went to my favourite local jewelry designer yesterday. He always has lots of interesting, handmade and creative necklaces, bracelets, rings… I will take a photo of what I bought, so check out my Instagram for that.
Here’re couple of photos I took two days ago, on our 2nd day in Turku. Turku is such a lovely city with beautiful sights and buildings. On 2nd day we went for a small shopping in the city and I found couple of Yankee candles and one absolutely gorgeous coat which was last in it’s size and I’m so happy that I found it because it fits me like a glove and it’s made of raw silk so I’m sure that I will be able to wear it for years to come 🙂
Hello from Turku everyone! Turku is Finland’s ex capital city that is about 2 hours car ride away from Helsinki. I’ve been in Turku three times and every time it was because of Ruisrock festival that is held annually every Summer. This year, my main wish was to see Hurts show and oh boy, it was an amazing show! Great band, beautiful songs and great stage presence. Audience was responding wonderfully too, so I believe that everybody went home happy since they were one of the last bands to play yesterday.
It’s such a beautiful and sunny start of the new week! I’ve been at gym this morning and afterwards went to get tons of berries because there’re stands with fresh, local berries all over the city and this is the season to enjoy them 🙂
Later on I’ve been scouting a location for tomorrow’s photo shoot. Everything’s ready for tomorrow and I’m very excited! It’s always such a glorious moment to do what I love and get lost in my own world of dreams, visions and fairy tales.

Last couple of days were really hectic for me and the following 7 days won’t be an exception but I’m happy for having filled schedule because I’ll have 12 days of holidays coming after that 😉 I hope that you’re also taking a Summer holiday somewhere nice and sunny and if you’re not I wish you a nice and relaxing Sunday with a good kick off Monday tomorrow!
