Good morning my dear readers! I’m back to Helsinki and I’m already missing South Croatia’s warm weather and sunshine. It’s been really cold in Finland, -25°C to be more precise! I’m pretty much “surviving” my daily life by using the car and/ or by walking under the city through the underground tunnels. That’s the only way to stay warm-ish!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! I hope that all of you had beautiful, relaxing and happy 3 days of Christmas celebrations. Prior to this week, as you might have noticed from my Instagram I have been to Zagreb and have attended the most magical Christmas market I’ve ever been to!
Hello from the other side! 😀 Since my last outfit post, I have arrived to Croatia for work and holidays. I have already visited Split and Zagreb cities, worked on some cool collaborations, met friends and have enjoyed the sunshine as well as an amazing food! Croatia, esp. these two cities have an incredible food scene and prices are very affordable comparing to what I’m usually paying in Helsinki for the same kind of meal.
How to impress a local girl in her own city? How to lure a girl out of the comfort of her own home and make her feel like a “million dollar girl”? Take her to one of the most prestigious and luxurious hotels in whole Scandinavia, put her in a Premium Deluxe room while having the best staff pamper her by being highly skilled, welcoming and meeting all of her needs!
Look at that!! I woke up and somehow, it happens to be Sunday, end of the week(end) and I have a whole new set of cravings… Food cravings that is! 😀
Good Monday morning my dear readers! I hope that your weekend was a good one and was filled with holidays’ spirit since it’s the most beautiful time of the year and we have less than a month left until the Christmas and New Year’s Eve festivities. 🙂 Many of you have left comments on either my Instagram or on my blog that you’ll be visiting my city of Helsinki in December, so I thought that it was a perfect moment to present you Hotel Indigo® as part of my “Visit Helsinki” series of posts in which I present you the best places to go and explore in Helsinki, from shops, spas, restaurants, to hotels, museums, etc.
I love Helsinki! Period! 🙂 This city is a little gem in North of Europe and I feel that it somehow get’s “lost” in between Denmark, Sweden and Russia. Only for the past couple of years is that I can see more and more tourists coming and staying in Helsinki, not just passing through/ having a layover.
Good morning everybody! My holidays in Croatia have come to an end and past three weeks have been absolutely amazing. I got to relax, recharge and get rid of nastiness of jet lag from LA. Lots of sun, some swimming, being by the sea every day and different day-to-day life was just what I needed after hustle and bustle of LA’s streets.
Hello my dear readers! How are you doing? Did you have a nice Midsummer weekend? I have usually spent past 6-7 Midsummers in Finland and it’s a big “thing” over there, but this time around as you know already, I’m in Croatia and in the city I’m staying at ( my old hometown ) Sibenik, it was the city’s birthday and an opening of International Children’s Festival for the 55th time.
I can’t believe that it’s already Friday and that in less than a week, my Summer holidays will be over. :/ They flew by so fast and I will definitely try to maximise every day until the end of the holidays and try to just soak up every moment of swimming, laying on the beach, eating ice cream and so on.
