Clarins boosters

How many times did you come across an article or a book title of “something-something” that French people do better than anybody else? Not sure about you, but I did come across such statements so many times that I even lost my count. 🙂 Must be that those French people really know what they’re doing, because they seem to know a lot and are a true influencers in lifestyle and fashion as well as in beauty “sections” of our daily lives.

Us girls are always checking out how Parisienne ladies are styling their outfits, which new beauty products they’re raving about and perhaps, what’s latest trend in parenting or not “sweating” the small stuff. 🙂

If we concentrate now only on beauty and skincare, some of the biggest beauty brands are coming exactly from France, one of them being a giant known as Clarins!

Clarins’ history states that the company had been founded back in 5os with a powerful motto : “Do more, do better and enjoy doing so.” Ever since becoming present on the beauty and skincare worldwide market, Clarins can proudly say that they’ve validated their own motto and have up to this day, only brought the best, most quality and always innovative products for women and man!

Clarins has about 10 000 employees and by the end of 2015 it was ranked 1st company as high end face care products in Europe and Middle East.

I have personally tried their products about 3-4 years ago only but ever since opening my first bottle of Double Serum I was completely blown away! No wonder that this serum is to date one of the most sold skin care products of this brand. There’re 20 plant extracts in this product which boost skin’s vital functions. After a long period of using this product, I must say that it’s rich but smooth oil texture is non comedogenic, it doesn’t break me out and I do have an oily T zone.

I was lucky to get sent out three new boosters to test and after 2 months of religiously testing them out, I have to say that they’ve now moved over to my “holy grails” list. 🙂

Let me introduce you shortly to:

*ENERGY BOOSTER

-booster which I love to use in the morning, right after my shower and before my face cream. This is a great “beauty activator” as it’s designed to minimise signs of fatigue and give tone and radiance to skin. (main plants – ginseng)

*DETOX BOOSTER 

-this one I use whenever I feel like, sometimes in the AM, sometimes in the PM, I don’t have any preference. Basically any time I feel that my skin needs some extra detox from being too often indoors/ smokey places or feel the pollution of traffic “caking on” it, this is something what I reach for to give my skin an instant plump and detox. (main plant – green coffee)

*REPAIR BOOSTER

-booster which showed to be the best to use in the evenings is this one! I love to think that my skin has food and it’s working miracles for it while I’m sleeping. This booster is a good fairy to my skin cells as I have seen a great improvement in my complexion and I love to wake up in the AM with no signs of redness and no new wrinkle lines or such. (main plant – mimosa tenuiflora)
