Espadrilles love

Good Wednesday everybody! I felt like writing just a “chit-chat” kind of post and also present you my love for these espadrilles. I have literally spent half of my Summer in them, they’re so comfy and I can combine them with almost anything in my closet. If you haven’t, I can wholeheartedly suggest you to invest in a pair of good espadrilles.

Back to the chit-chat part, I can’t find proper words to THANK you from the bottom of my heart for such an overwhelming acceptance, encouraging words and beautiful comments on my previous post! I read through all of them on my Instagram, in my messages, emails and here in the comments and I have to say that I’m truly flattered and so thankful for each one of them because I did put a lot of myself under the “spotlight” and did some of the most personal photos, so to share them with an online world was bit scary but I didn’t hesitated even for a moment. Sometimes we need to move forward, push some of our own limits in order to bring new, quality content.

I’ve been having bit of bad luck this week and got my ankle twisted, hurts like a b*tch but I guess, as some wise people said once, that’s my body ( or feet 😀 ) telling me to slow down a bit. I feel as if I have spent the whole summer trying to do as much, experience as much and be non stop on the go as much as I can in the shortest time possible. My daughter starts her school tomorrow, so I guess that was one big reason why I was so in rush with everything. A whole new chapter in hers and my life starts tomorrow and as much as I’m looking forward to it, I’m bit feeling “lost” in this new situation… I still can’t believe that she is old enough to go to school and that my little baby ain’t that little anymore.

New challenges, new adjustments and new adventures await and what I am ready for is to live every single day the best I can. I’m hoping that the weather will still stay good for a while so that I can enjoy some sunny and warm days before the Fall hits us big time in September.

I have about 2-3 weeks to prep everything for the September which will kick off as a very busy month. One of the events I’m very much looking forward to is a food photography workshop with my dear colleague Rita. I’ll announce all about it on Friday here on the blog, so stay tuned in case that you’ll be in Helsinki on 4.9. and want to join us. 🙂
