From my usual “Good morning everybody!”, I am going to start this post by writing good afternoon dear people from all over the world who stop by daily to check out this blog and which new posts I have prepared for you. After being completely “delusional” for over a week and fighting a super nasty virus, today is the first day that I feel much better and can think clearly again.
I am still feeling weak and am taking antibiotics so you can definitely see that on my face, hence the paleness thanks to living in Helsinki where the sun and daylight are non existent for most of the Winter.
If it wouldn`t be for this red sweater I would blend in with the background, hahahaha.
Enough of complaining, I am starting to depress myself, hahaha. How are you? How did the beginning of this year started off for you? Let me know, I would love to read.
While I still need a few more days to get my thoughts and emotions together before I write a long motivational kind of post ( which I love to write once a week ), for now, I will just say that I am so thankful for every little cell of my body, for every little part of my body… Now, in the month of January when from EVERYWHERE and everybody “screams” at you to “get back in shape”, “loose that extra weight”, “train your butts out”, “eat healthy”, “sign up to the gym” and all that jazz, I truly recommend you all to NOT do any of those things. Unless you really feel like doing some of those for yourself from nurturing reasons and because YOU want it then go ahead, but otherwise do not torture yourself, your body nor force something on yourself because of the screwed up social pressure and weird modern times that we are living in.
Our bodies are so fragile and can take only that much. Being sick and in bed without being able to do anything at all ( sometimes even talking was too big of a task ) made me realise how little it takes to be “shot down” and how much I would have given anything and everything just to be back on my feet and healthy again. Once I am completely recovered again, I have made a small promise to myself to always make some time for myself and my health each week this whole year, meaning going out for walks in the nature which I used to do before almost every single day and now I do not even remember when was the last time I saw some greenery. Making sure to eat food which I love and much more of cooked and prepped at home meals than as a take away or dining out. I actually cook pretty good and know what I love the best, so no excuses. 🙂
Small adjustments but nurturing ones and very good ones for my health.

The outfit is great, love the red sweater but I must admit you do not look too well. Look after yourself Natali. Actually I excercise every morning but not because it’s a new year resolution or becauase I have any pressure, just because it makes me feel good, physically and mentally. Get well soon. xoxoxo

Thank you so much my dear and for your kind words and concern. I will def. do much better in taking care of myself and my
health this year than I did previous year. Great to read that you exercise every morning, that’s something I’d like to implement into
my daily routine too because I too love being active and have always been a sporty person that needs her body doing some sort of workout. 🙂
This is definitely a grunge cool look! I like the red on you. I am so sorry you have been so sick. 🙁
