I’ve always been a girl who loves to wear jewelry and I could not imagine myself without a single piece of it on me when I’m getting ready to go to run my errands, go to the meetings or esp. when going out on a dinner date!

When I’m at home, I don’t have the need to wear any jewelry, I find them to be too distracting and also too special and important to have them “ruined” by a mistake while cooking, cleaning or such but when I know that I will leave my home and am choosing an outfit to put on, I always finish my looks with a piece or a few pieces of jewelery.

I have few pieces of jewelry that are very precious and expensive, some that are less pricy, but have big sentimental value, some were gifted to me, some were handmade by my friend… Until now, I never had created or customised the jewelry by myself. That was up until I got to discover a Helsinki based company Jevelo which makes a process of creating your own jewelry as easy as ABCs! You can create any necklace that you like, with the pendant of your choice, be it a square or perhaps a round one.

Jevelo app allows you to create something very unique in only couple of steps from the comfort of your own home. All you have to do is to download the app to your smart phone and start creating unique, custom jewelry!

I was absolutely amazed by how easy it was to create something so special, which I’ll use and gladly wear every single day! The process from creating both pendants until I have received them in my mailbox was very easy and fast. The outcome was a gorgeous, high quality piece of jewelry created by a company’s own, very skillfull jewelry maker Primesmith. Designs are made in Sterling silver and/ or stainless steel and the price of the final product varies according to the chosen material.

I chose swans for one pendant and a wisdom, “life” quote for the second one.

SWANS – I took a photo of swans on my last trip in Croatia and I have used it to create this piece of jewelry. I love the fact that swans spend their whole lives with one and the same partner, swans are my favourite animals and swans to me represent gracefulness, beauty and purity! All of these things are something I’m striving towards in my life too…

– I don’t live blindly by the quotes, but I love reading them, sharing them and even creating my own ones. I love to be reminded each day of how much life is special, hard but beautiful, short and at the same time long enough if we live it to the fullest and cherish each moment!
