Not sure why but lately I’ve found myself telling some of my friends that they are “such a lucky” people. I have also heard from my friends and acquaintances saying how they think that I am the lucky person, leading a great life.
Many times I would just express my gratitude for such words and kind thoughts, but my inner voice would at the same time have a good laughter and think:”Me lucky? Yeah right, if you would only know all of my troubles, you wouldn’t think of me as a lucky one.”
This all made me ask myself a question, what does it mean to be lucky? Why do I think that my friends or some people which I don’t even know personally are the “lucky ones” and I’m perhaps, not?! What does make somebody a lucky person?
As with many things and situations in life, the answer is quite simple but to make it a part of your every day life and truly live the “answer” is what many of us have the difficulties with. Being in luck or lucky has noting to do with certain things happening to you or people whom you’re surrounded with, but it comes from you and your inner restraints. The more you let yourself enjoy life, the more you’re grateful and aware of how much you have is what will ultimately make you a “lucky person”. The more you’re vibrating with the positivity, the more you’re in luck! You will attract more and more people and situations which will make you live a lucky life. You need to have a positive outlook on life in order to have and live one.
It is easier said than done, but seriously, just take a moment and think about this:
*I’m feeling lucky today because I can see, I can hear, I can move,
*I’m feeling lucky today because of the smile that my daughter gave me in the morning,
*I’m feeling lucky today because I had great time at work with my colleagues,
*I’m feeling lucky today because I had food on my table, water in my shower and the sun was shining beautifully…
So in this sense, yes, I am a lucky one and yes being lucky can’t be bought or forced, it needs to be felt first in order to fully experience it too!
