Blue Monday

One of my favourite songs by New Order and one of my favourite “old” classics that I can listen to over and over again without ever getting bored. Quite danceable song for this Monday morning and it totally fits my mood as I have landed in Croatia yesterday and it feels great to wake up all refreshed and with tons of wishes to tick off from my wish list! Super small things, the ones that make life beautiful, such as going to my favourite people at the Farmer’s Market to buy all of the fresh and local produce, having a coffee break in favourite cafe…. Just walking around and totally blending in with the vibe of the small city and it’s “no rush” mentality.

Good morning everybody!! I just woke up and while sipping my morning’s 1st tea, I’m thinking about how this Monday already rocks! My little sister has a BIRTHDAY today, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sister!! Unfortunately, she’s in Croatia right now, so I won’t be spending this day with her, but luckily she’ll come to visit me in October and then we’ll make up for all of the time that we couldn’t spend together this year.

Hello from Europe everybody! I have landed safely after a very long overseas flight, long layover and a short connecting flight to Helsinki. I haven’t slept more than couple of hours altogether in the past couple of days, but I’m hoping to get rid of jet lag soon so that I can fully enjoy the good ol’ Helsinki and Croatia to the fullest.

Free… To have a free and playful spirit is such a rarity nowadays… Either we’re all too swamped in our day-to-day lives with all of the problems ( smaller or bigger ones ), endless schedules, routines, etc. that I have a feeling many of us forget to be in touch with ourselves… We forget to listen to our souls and follow the voice “inside” of us that is so often being “shut down” because we still have this one more thing to do that we might not really feel like, but we have to, or we have this one more place we have to go to, worrying that we’re missing out in life if we don’t go, etc.
