Once upon a time, I have fell in love with the Finnish designer name Samuji. I have bought couple of their clothing pieces and was happily wearing them over and over again. I even had a collaboration with them sometime ago on my blog here . Little did I know that after randomly coming across one Instagram account and being inspired by the photos and person behind it, I was going to meet one of the “Samuji people”, Antonia! I grew up in a small village, while that was a blessing because I was protected at all times and I had a huge freedom of living a carefree childhood, playing for as long as I wanted outdoors, hiding in the forest, just sitting by the sea for an hour or even staying at my friend’s place over for lunch without having to inform my family about it ( there was no cellphones but only phones and after only few phone calls around, my parents would know where I was at ). To some extent, growing up in such a small and closed community, it was a bit of problem for me later on in my life. I was scared of being introduced to new people or go out in a big group of people.
Good morning my dear readers!! I hope that you’re doing well and that the week has been going well for you. I have completely packed week, lots of work but I ain’t complaining. 🙂 When I have a busy week like this one, I usually don’t have time or energy to dedicate myself to cooking at home, so takeaway from a restaurant is the first solution that comes to my mind.
YAAAY!! Finally my favorite actor ever since ’97. won an Oscar! 😀 Congratulations to Leonardo DiCaprio for winning that little, golden man statue, he has deserved it since long, long time ago. Have you watched the Oscars? It’s one of my favorite Red Carpet events to date. Ever since I was a little kid, I loved to watch the TV broadcast. Seeing stars arriving to the Oscars in their best outfits/ looks ever was and still is so inspiring!
Good morning dear readers! I’m still on my “positive kick” from Monday, so I’ll continue my Thursday’s post in the same tone. 🙂 If somebody knows me well, they know that I LOVE drinking tea!
My holidays are coming to their end and before I serve you up with couple of posts from Croatia, I’d like to present you with third hotel from Helsinki city which I’ve collaborated with as part of my “Visit Helsinki” series of posts in which I recommend you places to stay at, visit and dine at in Helsinki.
Is it Friday afternoon already? Oh yes it is and I’m very happy that the weekend is here. I def. need two days to organise myself and put my schedule for the next week in order. I have so much coming/ happening this month which is also my birthday month! Yay! 😀
Good morning my dear readers! Here’s a very important post that I’ve been very much looking forward to publish. I had a wonderful chance to collaborate with one of the gigantic and very respected names in Finnish design. AARIKKA is irreplaceable name in Finnish design history and continues to be one of the most important “labels” that Finland is known for and all of the tourist are shopping for when bringing a souvenir or a special gift back home with them.
Fall is definitely in full swing here in Helsinki! I’m more and more often waking up to rainy mornings or walking back home in the evening while the rain is “washing up” the city’s streets. As much as I love my sunshine and relaxing time by the beach, I also love the feeling of freshness and new beginning that the Fall brings. I don’t know how or why but I suddenly feel so much more creative, focused and find it easy to take on any work task. How about you my readers? Do you like Fall and why?
Good morning my dear readers! How are you and how was your weekend? I was SO tired over the weekend and have worked a ton, but have also managed to meet with my friends, run errands and get semi-prepared for this new working week. The schedule is quite hectic almost every day this week, but being organised and writing down on the paper everything ( I know, I know, I’m getting old-er 😀 ) is the key to success. 🙂
