This Sunday is a perfect day to continue with my “Visit Helsinki” series of posts in which I recommend you the places of my choice which you could visit when in Helsinki, from places to dine at to places to shop at, hotels to stay at, etc. After many amazing restaurants which I have presented you so far, which many of them were Asian, I simply had to present you Tokyo55. Japanese restaurant, catering and a sushi academy were opened back in 2009 and up until this day, it stayed one of the locals’ favourite place to go and enjoy, for example, fresh and delicious Tokyo55’s signature sushi rolls.
Good morning my sweet readers! Here’s just a quick announcement for my Helsinki based followers that I’ll take part in an interesting food photography workshop next month, 6th of March to be more precise.
Arriving to Helsinki, Finland for the first time about 9 years ago, I was completely in shock of how much I have instantly clicked with a place that I’ve been wanting to visit for so long and at the same time in disbelief of how big cultural differences were between Finland and Croatia, back then my home country.
Good Sunday morning dear readers! How is your weekend going? Are you staying in today or are you off to a brunch/ movies somewhere? I’m right now flying to Croatia where I’ll spend almost a month, so expect a lot of posts from there in the near future and for a day-to-day update follow me along on my Instagram profile as I’ll be snapping tons of photos! 😀
How to impress a local girl in her own city? How to lure a girl out of the comfort of her own home and make her feel like a “million dollar girl”? Take her to one of the most prestigious and luxurious hotels in whole Scandinavia, put her in a Premium Deluxe room while having the best staff pamper her by being highly skilled, welcoming and meeting all of her needs!
New post in the series of “Visit Helsinki” posts is here and I’m happy to present you with the finest and most traditional french restaurant in Helsinki, Pastis.
I’d like to wish a lovely Wednesday morning to everyone!! I hope that you’ve embraced the magical vibe of December and are in time with all of your plans and “to-do” lists before the Christmas and New Year’s Eve festivities take over. 🙂 I’m bringing you another collaboration post as part of my Visit Helsinki series of posts in which I recommend you the best places in Helsinki for dining, shopping, exploring, staying at, etc.
Good Monday morning my dear readers! I hope that your weekend was a good one and was filled with holidays’ spirit since it’s the most beautiful time of the year and we have less than a month left until the Christmas and New Year’s Eve festivities. 🙂 Many of you have left comments on either my Instagram or on my blog that you’ll be visiting my city of Helsinki in December, so I thought that it was a perfect moment to present you Hotel Indigo® as part of my “Visit Helsinki” series of posts in which I present you the best places to go and explore in Helsinki, from shops, spas, restaurants, to hotels, museums, etc.
If you know me at all by reading this blog and by checking my Instagram account, you might have concluded by now how impressed and in love I am with anything Asian, esp. Japanese food, language and traditions. After travelling around the Europe and US, I have experienced wonderful Japanese/ Asian fusion restaurants, out of some have Michelin stars, but little did I know that I would get so positively surprised by discovering some real gems in my own hometown, Helsinki.
Seeing how well you’ve responded on my previous post about Jolie Shop, I’m more than happy to introduce you to JOLIE SPA! Yes, as you might guess from the name, these two wonderful places are linked to each other and the experience that I had at their spa is equal to the one when I have visited the store, sweet, small and very personal. The service is simply outstanding and the amount of products and treatments is more than diverse that it meets everybody’s needs and preferences.
