Electric heart

January 5, 2016

They say that creative and artsy souls are always messy people and their bedrooms/ homes/ work spaces are always in some kind of “creative” disorder but they swim wonderfully in their own unorganised world and still get everything done and come through with their plans and final product.

Visit Helsinki: Saaga

December 16, 2015

Arriving to Helsinki, Finland for the first time about 9 years ago, I was completely in shock of how much I have instantly clicked with a place that I’ve been wanting to visit for so long and at the same time in disbelief of how big cultural differences were between Finland and Croatia, back then my home country.

Amour

November 15, 2015

My love… LOVE… Such a short, yet important and BIG word. A feeling that can move mountains! It’s incredible what pure, real and deep love can do!? I also do know what lack of it can cause… What happened last Friday in Paris, France was absolutely horrible and left me in shock, but what made me even more upset is that the LACK of love, common sense and acting in the name of “religion” took away so many innocent lives. Only 2-3 days before the Paris tragedy, horrible blood was spilt in Beirut… Tomorrow it might be your city and the lives taken might be of somebody whom you LOVE, or even your own…

Lights

August 16, 2015

Happy, wonderful Monday morning everybody!! I have slept well last night and I woke up energised this morning to the rays of sunshine sneaking through the window blinder’s “cracks”. 🙂 My weekend was both, hectic and inspiring. Working long hours on Saturday and then some more yesterday by working on the blog content, future arrangements and also putting up 10 of my artworks at my friend’s cafe – CAFE ROUGE  in the centre of Helsinki. 🙂

In between

July 21, 2015

Good Wednesday everybody!! It’s a rainy morning in Helsinki but I’m all cool with that since I have so much to do indoors so I won’t be missing out the non existing sunshine. We’re supposed to “see” some sunshine still this week, so not all of the hope is lost yet. 🙂

Tres chic

April 14, 2015

What a Tuesday!? I had such a “weird” but beautiful and very inspiring day. You know these days, when totally unexpected, so many things get cleared out and you have much better vision of what exactly you need to do in order to take the next step in the right direction.

Reflections

April 7, 2015

Today was a hard day… But at the same time inspiring and “enlightening” one. It’s been a little bit over a month since I’ve picked my 5 travel cases and moved all the way to another continent, to a country and city that I have never visited before and knew very little about. After a month of constant sun shining and warm weather, today was the first chilly and rainy day in LA. To be honest, it’s been pouring outside and I’m glad that I had that luxury of choice to stay inside and just “be” at home.

The wall

April 6, 2015

Happy Easter Monday everybody! How are your holidays? I hope that you’re on a long weekend break and that you had possibility to spend your time with your families and friends. I had a very confusing Easter this year, because it was nothing like I used to have it before… I would either spend it in Croatia or in Finland and always surrounded with family and relatives, but this time, in LA that wasn’t possible so I have tried to just live this day the best I could and try not to be too melancholic about some past times and traditions…
