Toreador

Good Monday morning everybody! How was your weekend? Mine was very hectic on Saturday as we have celebrated my daughter’s 7th birthday. The party was Frozen themed ( what else??! 😀 ) and I was having my hands full with all the baking, prepping the snacks and later on with entertaining 10 little munchkins that were super exctatic about the party!

Those moments bring me back to my childhood and when I used to celebrate my birthdays at home. Those are some of the most sweetest memories that are completely priceless and irreplaceable.

Something else that is irreplaceable and has been a huge part of my childhood was ballet and growing up listening to and appreciating classical music. Nothing makes me as inspired as music does… It simply takes me to a whole another world in which I love to get lost almost on daily basis! Crazy dreamer… I know! 😀

One of my top favorite ballets and operas happen to be “Carmen”! I can watch both, ballet and opera numerous times and I would never get bored of either one of them. One of my favorite parts of those are “Toreador song” and I had that music ringing in my head while we were shooting these photos. I’ve felt my mood lit up instantly and even though this outfit is more “kitchy” or edgier than the outfits that I usually wear, I felt so ME in this one… So comfortable and natural. Once a stage person, always a stage person I guess! 🙂

I’m about to finish packing up my suitcase and then it’s time to take off to the airport since I’ll be attending Stockholm Fashion Week and I have a flight to catch up. I can’t wait to share this experience with you, so stay tuned for the upcoming posts. I have a crazy week ahead with so much work and errands to be done, but I’ll do my best to post regularly.
