Visit Helsinki: Jolie Spa

Seeing how well you’ve responded on my previous post about Jolie Shop, I’m more than happy to introduce you to JOLIE SPA! Yes, as you might guess from the name, these two wonderful places are linked to each other and the experience that I had at their spa is equal to the one when I have visited the store, sweet, small and very personal. The service is simply outstanding and the amount of products and treatments is more than diverse that it meets everybody’s needs and preferences.

Jolie Spa is also located in the city centre, only couple of blocks away from the shop. You can’t just walk in the spa since it operates only by an appointment. To make this place even more sweeter and unique, it’s a minute walking distance from my favourite CAFE KUPPI JA MUFFINI and if you reserve their earliest treatment time (8am) on any given day by using the code “earlybird” in “additional text” field, you get a free breakfast at Kuppi ja Muffini cafe.

Upon entering the spa, I was warmly greeted by sweet Miia. She has been such a wonderful host, carefully wrote down all of the information about my skin care and lifestyle habits to finally treat me with the best facial massage I’ve experienced in Helsinki throughout the past 8 years. Something that makes Jolie Spa stand out is the fact that you’re the only customer at the time of your booking and the whole attention in solely on you + you get to enjoy the spa on your own with your masseuse and just soak in the peacefulness of the place.

I had a Fountain of youth facial massage and besides being able to relax completely, I have enjoyed the anti ageing and moisturising treatment for my skin which needed this boost ever since the colder days have arrived to Helsinki and in the combination with the harsh wind, my skin has been dry and sensitive.
