4 city windows

I have visited Zagreb, Croatia about a month ago and besides checking out wonderful Bistroteka, one of the places that I was super excited to collaborate with and experience for myself was B&B place called 4 city windows.

To be honest, I have never before stayed anywhere else on my trips but at the hotels. This was the first time that some place that is not a hotel caught my attention and I simply had to see it/ feel it for myself. This sweet bed and breakfast place, situated in the very city center ( 5 minutes walk from the main square ) was more than I could ever expect it to be. Sweet and very approachable owner, Tanja welcomed us upon our arrival and made our check-in as easy as it can be. Comfy Lenuci’s room was awaiting for us and I couldn’t wait to check out the other 3 rooms too.

Before I continue writing about the rooms, 4 city windows is a very unique place because every room ( out of 4 ) is decorated and named by a theme. For example, if you wish, you can stay at “Art room” and be able to get to know the work of Zagreb’s young artist Paulina and Tatjana as well as you’ll be able to express yourself and put the canvas and painting supplies in a good use since they’re “free” for everybody staying at that room to use.

Already mentioned above, Lenuci’s room, has the big photo of Zrinjevac park which can be reached from your room in only 2 minutes short walk. Very nearby are main and historical, railway station and Botanical gardens.

Other two rooms are Cartoon room and Uphill downhill room equally artsy and inspiring to stay at. 🙂

Lenuci’s room was spacious, clean and had everything you’d wish or need for a short stay in Zagreb. Mornings are a very happy, friendly and delicious ones at 4 city windows thanks to Mrs. Tanja and her homemade breakfast, from on spot made crepes and fried eggs to a great selection of coffees and teas.

In case that you need some assistance, information or a city map, Tanja has you all covered up with multiple city maps, information on the upcoming events and so on… Just ask her and you’ll see! 🙂

Staying at 4 city windows felt like staying overnight at my aunt’s place, safe, relaxing and a simply wonderful experience that I’d def. like to repeat once again.
