Hello my dear readers, 5 for Friday post is here! I’ve been dwelling on should I, or should I not write today’s post but then I was like: “What the heck?!” and I’ve decided to do it. I didn’t have a good week… It was actually one of the crappiest ones and bad weather didn’t help the mood. I always want to and try to inspire and bring only good and positive vibes to my blog and Instagram feed, but sometimes… Sometimes, I’m just a human, I hurt, I don’t feel good and from time to time, I think that it’s ok to say it out loud and call it a day. Or week.
When the clouds are too dark and heavy, it’s hard to follow that little glimpse of sunshine trying to peek through the gloominess, but I did try my best to remind myself, each day to find that one little good thing that keeps me going and gets me through the day.
Lots of listening to the music ( some songs on repeat for half of the day 😀 ), some cooking which always relaxes me and testing out some new, out of my head recipes, walking outside to get some fresh air, no matter what’s the weather, getting dressed up and ready even if I didn’t feel like and meeting blogger colleagues and friends at my favourite cafes in the city were pretty much things that were super helpful.
The biggest one though was to see my daughter have great times at school! I was so stressed about how she’s going to like the school and if she’ll make friends easily, but I see now that the stress was for nothing because she LOVES school and literally can’t wait to go back the next morning. 😀
