Boho soul

Free… To have a free and playful spirit is such a rarity nowadays… Either we’re all too swamped in our day-to-day lives with all of the problems ( smaller or bigger ones ), endless schedules, routines, etc. that I have a feeling many of us forget to be in touch with ourselves… We forget to listen to our souls and follow the voice “inside” of us that is so often being “shut down” because we still have this one more thing to do that we might not really feel like, but we have to, or we have this one more place we have to go to, worrying that we’re missing out in life if we don’t go, etc.

I often wonder, when did it start to be so hard and complicated to just live? When I was younger, I remember that only few things “bothered” me and there were only so many things that I simply “NEEDED” to do in order to feel accomplished or whatever. When we overthink and over-worry about one too many things is when we’re for sure not in touch with ourselves and then it’s so easy to get very frustrated, depressed, unhappy, confused…

Oh boy, I’ve felt this way so many times and for a change, it felt amazing for the past week to be in touch with my inner boho soul, with that little gypsy that loves life, that loves to laugh, the child of nature… Just to be able to feel the sun rays on my face and to be able to suck in all of the beauty that surrounds me, from the greens in the parks to random graffiti on the wall… That my dear readers was something rejuvenating! In honour of that amazing feeling, I’ve decided to kick off this new week by wearing this amazing dress which is a total “copy” of Saint Laurent, I know, but Zara did an amazing job on making it “own” and for a waaaay less bucks than SL.
