In the middle of this whole hustle and bustle around Christmas time and having to wrap up so much work, home errands and what not, it came in super handy to get a nice treat delivered by Foodora, the food delivery service which originates from Berlin but is successfully operating in many different countries, including Finland.
I’ve been writing about my experience with Foodora in a few previous posts like here and here. Since darkness and cold have been pretty much an “everyday life” in Helsinki for a while now, I’ve been craving just warm, comfort food all the time.
Nepalese food from Shuba Kamana sounded like the right choice and I’ve ordered some garlic Naan bread, special tomato soup with shrimps and vegetable stew in red curry sauce with basmati rice and daal.
I’ve enjoyed those so much that I was tempted to lick my plate, which I kind of did, using the Naan bread to “polish” off the plate as well as dip in the soup. 😀 Crazy foodie moment!
I have tried my best to capture the food as well as possible, but the picture doesn’t even do the justice to how delicious and satisfying were the dishes.
I hope that you’re lucky enough to have a food delivery service in your town too because it def. makes your life easier when you have the possibility to order your lunch or dinner from the comfort of your own home and not have to cook if you’re in a hurry or feeling bit lazy. 🙂
