Oh hi Monday! You surely come way too fast! 🙂 I do like Mondays and a feeling of a new week ( or day ) starting, but Mondays are always a reminder for me of everything I was planning to do and didn’t had time to do, everything I needed to get done and have postponed… Comes Monday and I remember that there’s never enough time to do everything unless there’s a real good schedule/ organisation involved.
Are you good in time management? How do you manage to get everything done?
I had a nice weekend. It was quite adventurous too. We went for a really quick visit to Split with my two brothers and have happened to “bump” in on a very lovely gathering of street performers that have decided to play music/ songs with all of the instruments that they have just to celebrate love and remind everybody the importance and power of love for each other. I’d say that it melted my heart because it was a completely non profit, just pure celebration of love kind of event. It was amazing to stand there and enjoy the performance right in front of my eyes.
Since my whole family is filled with foodies, we have decided to try out a new spot in the city for a great local and traditional food but with a modern, innovative twist. Corto Maltese is being run by a couple and they’re doing hell of a good food for a very fair prices! The interior is amazing, one whole wall is filled with the pages of Corto Maltese comic strip. I can highly recommend this place. Everything is being prepared right on spot and food is local and fresh in season.
Visiting Split’s bazaar is quite an amazing experience for itself and a MUST visit place even if you’re not planning on buying anything. I did score some amazing fresh fruits like cherries, apricots and peaches!
Here’s an outfit which I wore yesterday evening on a stroll through the city and our daily “trip” to an ice cream kiosk. I’ve been eating an ice cream a day and at this point I’m already sick of it but every time it’s an “ice cream o’clock” I suddenly want it more than anything. 😀 😀
