Checked jumpsuit made it’s way to my closet via Zara sales which I couldn’t resist. This particular jumpsuit wasn’t something I have planned to shop for but it immediately became a piece which I couldn’t get off once I’ve put it on. 😀
This Monday just had to start with this same checked jumpsuit. I woke up all determined to dress up but still stay warm and comfy, that’s when it was a “no brainer” to reach for this checked cute piece. 🙂
Talking about mornings and being determined, I have started to do one little thing each morning which I was quite bad at before. I have started to make my bed right after getting up. There is a book that I’ve been reading which made me realise the art of making your own bed first thing in the morning and how much it affects the rest of your day.
I can wholeheartedly recommend you to read THIS book, it’s been so transformative for me. What it did for me was that it made me feel like I have started my day by already accomplishing something. It happens to be that a perfectionist and a competitor spirit in me got very happy about this little change that it’s never been easier to set my mind on the work mode and deliver much more in a day than what I was used to.
I have never been afraid of straying away from work, but can you believe that such a little thing could have this big impact on how much I’m going to get done in a day?! I was positively surprised and besides my matcha tea, I have to thank to making my own bed giving me this much new energy to handle the workload or daily errands like never before. 😀
So how about you? Do you make your own bed first thing in the morning? What helps you to stay organised and be productive?
