How to instantly feel better? I have 3 easy ways which always make me feel better. Just before Easter I was feeling very good about myself, my work flow was steady and I would wake up with a very positive attitude each morning. I took some time off to just chill during the Easter but somehow I fell into a “funk” and couldn’t seem to get out of it for the most of the past week. Continue Reading…
Oh my, what a blissful start of new working week?! The sun is shining beautifully, temp. has started to rise up slowly and the overall vibe is as if I’m on a “natural high” of vitamin D. πΒ Continue Reading…
Pulse. Sometimes I just need to remember to stop for a moment and “check” my pulse. It’s incredible how much we’re capable of putting a big load of responsibilities and tasks on our shoulders, running around, making a living, trying to balance all of the roles that we’re so to say, playing in our lives… How often are we guilty of not putting ourselves in the first place much more often?!
Checking your own pulse… Being in a complete silence, not thinking about anything, not doing anything, just sitting or laying down, listening to your own heartbeat… When was the last time that you have done this? I truly can’t remember when was the last time that I have done it.
Even when I have my “down time”, it still involves some sort of electronics around me, thoughts still rushing through my mind and/ or worrying about “what could maybe be” with whatever it is that might be bothering me or which tasks I haven’t managed to take care of today and how can I solve them tomorrow, etc.
I had a pretty stressful week, esp. the weekend and I’ll do my best to remember and check my own pulse more often this week, worry less, stress less and treat myself a little bit more. New working BUT wise!! and relaxing week, here I come! π
Happy Monday everybody!

Good Easter Monday everybody! How is your long weekend going? I hope that you ate well, got some rest and that you had a chance to spend quality time with your family and friends. I have and it did set me up for a good start this week. There’s a lot of work to be done and many errands need to be taken care of, so no time for procrastinating known as daydreaming in my case. π
Is it weekend already?! π Yep, seems so! I can’t believe the week that I had, feels as if everything happened expressly, but I ain’t complaining. Keeping myself on the tip of my toes and traveling for work is challenging, inspiring and I absolutely love it.
Yep! Helsinki is a true Winter Wonderland! Ever since I have returned from my holidays in Croatia, I’ve been facing tons and tons of snow, very low temperatures and it was simply impossible for me to take any outfit photos. Indoor places are usually malls or cafes/ restaurants, there’re always tons of people mingling and the light is somewhat yellowish, so my chances were ZERO in getting a good material for the new outfit post.
Good morning my dear readers! Happy Monday! I don’t know about you, but I’m counting days until Christmas. It’s incredible to say that in less than 3 weeks, we’ll be celebrating my favourite holiday of the year and I’m so happy that I’ll get to do that in Croatia with my Croatian family and friends. It’s been so many years since I got to do that last time. This is also a Christmas present to myself… Buying memories and not things is my motto! π Continue Reading…
Good Monday morning everybody!! How are you all doing? I hope that the Winter didn’t strike you as cold as it did here in Helsinki. Almost over the night the temperatures have dropped down for 7-10 degrees and we also got the first snow. Even though it melted away really quickly, it was still nice to be reminded that there’re only 4 weeks left until the Christmas. Yesterday was an opening of so called Christmas street in the city centre, when all of the Christmas lights and decorations were put up and the whole city now looks incredibly charming and festive!
We’ve been having couple of coldish days here in Helsinki. The sun was still shining, but the wind was pretty strong, couple of small rain showers and I did needed to bring my trench with me when I was outdoors.
I’m barely writing this post from my bed, meaning that it’s hard to keep my eyes open and not fall asleep. I’ve been walking for over 8 miles today and while it def. felt great to spend time outdoors and in nature, it was exhausting and I’m so ready to hit the dreamland and it’s only 9:30 pm in LA. π Am I getting old or what?! Anyway, it was a great day today and I’m happy to be in this positive mood… Makes daily life so much easier to deal with and at the same time it gives me a clearer picture of my future, what I want and how to get there.
