Pick up with Foodora is one of the latest options this food delivery service has to offer. Up until not long time ago, you could only order food to be delivered to your home or office address, but not anymore. Pick up option allows you to browse through the restaurants that co-operate with Foodora, decide on your preferred pick up date and time, pick up your food and either eat it/ have it right there or bring it home with you, avoiding the delivery charge or waiting in the line at the restaurant or cafe. In the middle of this whole hustle and bustle around Christmas time and having to wrap up so much work, home errands and what not, it came in super handy to get a nice treat delivered by Foodora, the food delivery service which originates from Berlin but is successfully operating in many different countries, including Finland.
I’ve been writing about my experience with Foodora in a few previous posts like here and here. Since darkness and cold have been pretty much an “everyday life” in Helsinki for a while now, I’ve been craving just warm, comfort food all the time.
Sunday! My favorite day to just relax, stay at home, clean up a little, prepare for the upcoming working week and just “be”. A day spent like this does wonders for me! I always feel so energized and driven comes Monday morning. 🙂
Good Sunday my dear readers! How is your weekend going? Right after I’m done writing this post, I’m about to start packing for my trip to Stockholm. I’m invited to the Fashion Week and I’m very much looking forward to attending it. Since I had my hands full with work and errands the whole past week, I’m taking a break today and ordering in food.
Good Sunday morning everybody! It’s snowing and it’s cold in Helsinki. At times, it feels as if we’re living inside the snow globe. I don’t mind the cold and snow when it’s weekend and I can stay “extra long” in bed and not worry too much about running errands or work.
I dream of sushi, all the time! I have found my “THE” food choice and whenever it’s possible, I go for a sushi date or very rarely do the takeaway sushi. The reason why I don’t do the takeaway often is because I believe that the sushi is at it’s best and is supposed to be eaten right after it’s been prepared by the sushi chef.
Good Sunday morning dear readers! How is your weekend going? Are you staying in today or are you off to a brunch/ movies somewhere? I’m right now flying to Croatia where I’ll spend almost a month, so expect a lot of posts from there in the near future and for a day-to-day update follow me along on my Instagram profile as I’ll be snapping tons of photos! 😀
Look at that!! I woke up and somehow, it happens to be Sunday, end of the week(end) and I have a whole new set of cravings… Food cravings that is! 😀
I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. It’s not something that I have to do but something that I truly enjoy doing and am passionate about. There are no dull dishes coming out of my kitchen and that’s something I’m proud of, esp. since I have a family and to see their happy faces each time I present them with a new dish is simply a priceless moment.
Happy, wonderful Monday morning everybody!! I have slept well last night and I woke up energised this morning to the rays of sunshine sneaking through the window blinder’s “cracks”. 🙂 My weekend was both, hectic and inspiring. Working long hours on Saturday and then some more yesterday by working on the blog content, future arrangements and also putting up 10 of my artworks at my friend’s cafe – CAFE ROUGE in the centre of Helsinki. 🙂
