It’s time for a gourmet moment on my blog! I’d like to share one of my childhood favourite dishes has been mussels in a white wine, more known to Mediterranean people as “buzara sauce”. This dish is so simple to prepare, but very rich in flavour and even though, it doesn’t look like there is much to eat, it does fill you up very well!
This Wednesday shall start off with a yummy recipe in my “Gourmet moment” where I share my home cooked meals with you which will hopefully inspire you to try cooking and experimenting with different food at home. Cooking at home is therapeutic for me and I love to challenge myself and always try to either invent some new recipes or twist and adjust already tried recipes and make them even better. đ
As you might have already noticed, I love to cook at home and create new as well as re-create some of my all time favourite dishes. The recipe which I’ll share with you today is one of the ultimate favourites in my family and everybody loves it equally as much. I love to prepare it on Sunday, when I usually feel really lazy but I still want to cook something healthy, so this recipe then comes in as a perfect saviour since it doesn’t require much time spent by the stove and oven, but the outcome is always a super delicious one.
I’m a fishy-fish kind of gal! Anything fish scores big time with me. đ I love seafood in general and I can eat it raw, cooked, grilled, baked… It all sounds and tastes wonderful to me. One of my ultimate faves is baked octopus. I grew up eating this type of dish very often, esp. in the summertime. I got lucky to find a fresh octopus in my local grocery store so I decided to buy half of it and prepare a nice Sunday lunch for two. I believe that if you have a smaller appetite, this would be enough of lunch for three or even four persons.
Hello my dear readers! How are you doing? Are you an avocado lover like I am? Or maybe a sandwich junkie, like I am? đ Then this post will be perfect for you! I was making this avocado sandwich about two days ago and I though that it would be good to “document” it and share it with you since it’s super delicious, healthy and easy to prepare at home. Of course, you can play with the ingredients and put in or leave out some of them, according to your liking.
