Well, it’s more like 5 for Friday times 2 ! 🙂 I’m bringing you 12 photos from my Instagram feed which I have picked out to show you what I’ve been up to lately and how I see the world around me on daily basis. Ja kuinka näen maailman ympärilläni päivittäin. Jos et vielä seuraa minun profiiliani, niin käy vilkaisemassa. Sillä saatat pitää näkemästäsi. Ja pääset mukaan minun pikku Universumiini. Jota syleilen päivittäin avoimin mielin.
While all I see and hear about are photos of beaches, stories about holidays and sunny trips, summer fun and so on, I can not but feel weird at this point, since I’m walking around in my sneakers, long jeans, camo jacket and long sleeved tee. Finnish Summer is still loading… Obviously! Hopefully it will load and at least bring couple of more days of sunshine and possibility to at least walk around in shorts and lay by the beach before the cold, harsh Fall slides through and Winter takes over.
Samalla kun näen ja kuulen hienoista valokuvista joissa on kuvattu uimarantoja. Kuulen tarinoita ihmisten lomista, matkoista ja kesä tunnelmista jne. En voi itse muuta kuin tuntea kaihoa. Sillä kuljen tällä hetkellä lenkkareissa, pitkissä farkuissa, Camo takissa ja pitkähihaisessa t-paidassa. Suomen kesä antaa odottaa itseään…näköjään. Toivottavasti se vielä saapuu. Ja tuo mukanaan vielä muutaman aurinkoisen päivän. Tai ainakin mahdollisuuden ulkona liikkumiseen shortsit jalassa. Ja antaa mahdollisuuden maata rannalla. Ennen kuin kylmä ja viimainen Syksy nostaa päätään, Talven tuloa ennen.
Talking about Fall… Am I the only one who has already started to think about buying clothes and shoes for Fall? I don’t know is it because of the weather or because beginning of August always in a way marks the end of Summer or something else, but I haven’t seen any point in shopping anything from the current sales. All of these beautiful, discounted Summer clothes which I’ll most possibly wear next Summer. How are you doing with sales? Did you find something for yourself or are you, like me waiting for the Fall collections to arrive to the stores?
Syksystä puheen ollen. Olenko minä ainoa joka jo suunnittelee vaatteiden ja kenkien ostoa Syksyä varten? En tiedä että johtuuko se säästä. Tai siitä että Elokuu tulo tarkoittaa Kesän loppua, tai jotain vastaavaa. Mutta en ole nähnyt mitään järkeä shopata mitään tämän hetken ale tuotteita. Kaikkia näitä ihania ale hintaisia Kesä vaatteita, joita luultavasti laittaisin päälleni ensi Kesänä. Miten sinun ale hintaisten vaatteiden metsästys on sujunut? Löysitkö jotakin sopivaa itsellesi. Vai oletko niin kuin minä. Joka odottaa jo malttamattomana Syys malliston saapumista kauppojen hyllyille?
My mind has been all over the place today so to say, so sorry for jumping from one theme to another, but I simply must say that I’m so excited for the “Girl on a train” movie! I know that it will still take long time for it to come over to Finnish cinemas, but after reading that book last year, I’m simply ecstatic about the movie and can’t wait to see it. Emily Blunt is amazing, at least judging from the trailer. Have you read this book? It was a huge hit when it came out.
I’d like to wish you all a great, fun, chill, active, whatever you want it to be like weekend and talk to you on Monday again!
Minun ajatukset ovat harhailleet tänään koko päivän. Joten toivon että annatte anteeksi sen että hyppään nyt teemasta toiseen. Mutta minun on pakko kertoa teille että olen super innoissani uudesta tulevasta “Girls On The Train” leffasta. Tiedän että sen Suomen ensi iltaan on vielä aikaa. Mutta luettuani sen kirjana viime vuonna. Olen jo todella hurmioitunut tästä elokuvasta. Enkä malttaisi jo päästä näkemään sen. Emily Blunt on todella loistava. Ainakin trailerin perusteella. Oletteko jo ehtineet lukea kirjan? Se oli suuri myyntimenestys ilmestyessään.
Haluaisin toivottaa teille oikeen mahtavaa, hauskaa, rentoa, aktiivista, tai miksikä te nyt sitä ikinä haluaisitte kutsua viikonloppua. Ja ollaan taas kuulolla Maanantaina!

I am sure, The Girl on Train was on BBC radio not long ago, read for 15 minutes over 5 days or so. Though it lovely and must get the book. Shall do today.
Love that photo of the food on that blue plate. Very colourful and pretty.
As for winter clothes. You know how I love clothes. I love looking at them, but I struggle when it comes to buying them. Is this or that really me? Does it fit properly? I could go on.

Really? Cool, but yea, I can recommend you to get the book, I’m sure you’ll like it. Yes, I know what you mean about buying new clothes. I’m trying to be very mindful about anything I buy, be it clothes or food or whatever, we need so little because we already have so much and we don’t need a closet stuffed with clothes we will wear like once. Thank you, Natali. I’m tempted to say that I might have clothes older than you. For I, too, hang on to the things I love. I have a lovely winter coat. Had it for years. A classic style. Calf length military cut in dark green khaki, and made from new wool and cashmere. It is so cosy warm. I just wish we had more cold winters here so I could wear it more often.
