Happy Spring everybody!!! It surely doesn’t feel like Spring is yet in Helsinki, but we’re getting there, we are.. 😀 I’m super excited about finally being able to pull out lighter clothes from my closet, ditch the Winter boots for many months and start planning all sorts of outdoor activities that I love to do in Spring, such as picnics in the city parks and long strolls all over the city or by the beach.
How was your weekend? I had a pretty interesting last couple of days which made me realise that so much can happen in such a short time. I have met up with my dear friend for a mommy-kids playdate which was amazing, but just prior to that, I fell in the middle of the street and have sprained my ankle. During our date, my daughter got some kind of “allergic” reaction even though she’s not allergic to any food or drinks that she was having.
Next day, I had a big cake and cupcakes order from my friend who was then bringing them to another friend’s baby shower party. It took me hours to bake everything from scratch but I really wanted to do this for my friend AND to challenge my own skills. 🙂 You should have seen me in my tiny kitchen, baking my heart out, looking like a home baker – the lunatic. 😀
After the baking apocalypse, I was more than happy to enjoy a relaxing dinner with my friend and soon to be a business partner in crime ( some cool things are “cooking” 🙂 ). When you’re spending time with equally creative minds, lots of great ideas are born from those conversations and I can’t wait to put them all in motion and see where they’ll lead us to.
Sunday was all about doing some chores, bit of relaxing and a pinch of working. The evening ended watching old episodes of Modern Family!

The first day of Spring I walked ten miles along the tops of the White cliffs, and have never felt so cold in my life!
Wow! I can only imagine that! I’m so done with the cold weather, can’t taking it anymore, ahahah. 😀
I seriously need to update my Spring/ Summer closet, it’s been a while since the days were warm and
perfect to put a light dress on. 😀
