When I think, I think in color… When I dream, I dream in color… When I cook, take photos, whatever… I do it in color. Oh how thankful I am to have the healthy sight, to be able to experience life and it’s beauty in colors. If I would have to give away all of my senses but keep only one, I would keep my sight! I can’t imagine not being able to perceive the world around me not using my sight.
I’m a very visual person, I could always rely on my photographic memory when in school or on my trips in new cities… I always have to see something in order to fully experience and feel it!
Just like the title says, I’ve been dreaming in fuchsia tones lately… That beautiful, Spring like weather from week ago went back into darkness and coldness of the Winter. Finland has the tendency to “steal your sunshine” so I have decided to bring in my sunshine to my everyday life. Pink dress and fuchsia bag brought so much color and inner happiness on a random Sunday morning, like yesterday.
I love dressing up and I love going out like this too, no matter if it’s just a regular day. Life is too short to belittle yourself into small boxes of “what’s acceptable” way of dressing or thinking. Everybody needs to find what suits them the best and give into it. You can never be overdressed!
To conclude this post… Friend of mine Jerry raised an interesting question, asking when was the last time we were bored or remember being bored? That made me think that if you’re seeing the world around you in all of the complexity that it is, see the splashes of color whenever you think or dream, you can not possibly ever be bored. You can only wish to have 48 hours in one day to do everything that your heart desires and creative brain craves.
