In your face

What a wonderful day I had today!? It was one of those days that I’ll always remember. I woke up just to right away be smothered with kisses and Mother’s Day wishes from my daughter, followed by the presents which she picked herself ( with a little “shopping” help, but still 🙂 ).

A little bit later on we went to our favourite Farmer’s Market here in LA and that’s the super cute and “intimate” one at Melrose Place. I already have my “go-to” farmers and today they were extremely attentive and gave a lot of extras because it was Mother’s Day. That’s something that never stops amazing me on daily basis, the fact that even in this “plastic city” as some perceive it, there’re people with big hearts, honest smiles and they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.

I don’t remember when was the last time in my life that I felt as accepted and appreciated as I do here in LA. Few other things that leave me speechless is incredible beauty of West Hollywood. Every single street is so charming, homy, greens everywhere and so many trees and flowers that I have never even seen before elsewhere.

If you have never visited LA, you should, I’m positive that you would love it, it’s like no other place in the world, yet it’s so “familiar”. 🙂

Anyway, after the Market, it was time to go to one of our favourite brunch spots – The Little Next Door where I was yet again treated like a princess. I have almost started to feel uncomfortable thanks to so much attention that instead of doing anything fancy for the rest of the day, I have decided to to order in some Chinese for lunch and just chill at home with an angel that made me the most proudest and blessed mommy in the world.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all moms all around the world. I hope that everybody had an amazing Sunday and now I can happily embrace a new week with this amazing energy which I got over the weekend.
