It’s Thursday and we are one day closer to the weekend! I hope that the sun is shining as beautifully wherever you are, as it is in Helsinki. Warmer weather excites me because it means that soon, I will be able to wear all of the fun, bright coloured and “lighter” outfits!ย Continue Reading…
I seem to have some deep thoughts gather twice a week, usually being Monday and Thursday. Between working a ton, sleeping nothing and still fighting with my health and flu that doesn’t seem to wanna leave me, I seem to have hard times in shutting my brain off. Continue Reading…
Ever since my childhood, all through the teen years into the adulthood I have been tall and skinny. Being tall and lean comes hand in hand, there’re not that many people who are taller than 6 feet (as I am) and that aren’t lean. I have always been a skinny and bony one, not by choice but by the genetics or whatever it is.
“A 400 euros worth hair dryer? What does it do for that price?!” That was the thought which has crossed my mind when I saw Dayson’s Supersonic hair dryer at store for the first time. I have Dyson’s vacuum cleaner and a mini hot + cold warming and cooling machine. Both of these machines I’ve been using daily and I could justify every single euro spent.
Happy Monday my dear readers! I hope that your weekend went well and that it has also set you off to a productive start of the new working week. I had pretty chilled two days revolving around catching up on some work I’ve been behind with due to my exhaustion from nasty virus infection I’ve been fighting for the past two weeks.
How many times did you come across an article or a book title of “something-something” that French people do better than anybody else? Not sure about you, but I did come across such statements so many times that I even lost my count. ๐ Must be that those French people really know what they’re doing, because they seem to know a lot and are a true influencers in lifestyle and fashion as well as in beauty “sections” of our daily lives.
Good morning my dear readers! I can’t believe that a whole another year is coming to a full circle – to it’s end. Today is the last day, less than 24 hours left until we enter new year, 2017! What are your plans for tonight? Are you staying in and keeping it low key, maybe going out for dinner or are you up for a full night of partying with friends? ๐ I’m doing it “grandma” style this year since I’m sick with flu and am going for a trip so I try to get well and stay warm and still. ๐
In the middle of this whole hustle and bustle around Christmas time and having to wrap up so much work, home errands and what not, it came in super handy to get a nice treat delivered by Foodora, the food delivery service which originates from Berlin but is successfully operating in many different countries, including Finland.
I’ve been writing about my experience with Foodora in a few previous posts like here and here. Since darkness and cold have been pretty much an “everyday life” in Helsinki for a while now, I’ve been craving just warm, comfort food all the time.
Good Friday everybody! How are you doing? Are you excited about Christmas? I’m almost done shopping for all of the Christmas presents, I have sent out all of my Christmas cards and am impatiently waiting for the night of 24th! ๐ I don’t have any big or super interesting plans for the Christmas day(s), just a lot of chilling, listening to my fave Christmas album by M.Buble, some good food, mulled wine and the best of company around should seal the deal. ๐
Time… Took me by my wings, kept me places and surrounded by the souls I was not prepared to travel to or meet. Time also brought me to places and got me to meet souls who have been such an essence of my life. Some places and people will make you feel as if the time has stopped or at least you forget about checking your watch and can barely hear that little ticking reminding us that each tick-tock makes our star dust made bodies older and more vulnerable, closer to it’s expiration date.
