Hell is for children

December 3, 2015

Good Friday everybody!! I just couldn’t keep on writing post after post without actually saying much about myself and what I’ve been feeling like lately, so I thought that this Friday would be a perfect day to bring up a subject that I’ve been thinking about a lot and am SURE that a lot of girls who read my blog have been either raised similarly or have faced similar situations to mine in their lives…

I’ve always been raised to be a “good girl”, to follow the rules, to be nice to everybody, etc. No matter how badly I’ve been treated from the closest family, relatives to friends, to every bad attitude and action, I’ve responded only with smile, kindness and love… Well, these 28 years have been hell of a ride for me and while looking like I have it all together on the outside, I sure have suffered my hell on the inside…

Something happened to me, not long time ago, which was my final wake up call… Let’s just say that a very close friend to whom I’ve trusted blindly has betrayed me. This was a final call for me to leave the years of hell behind, because “Hell is for children” and I am an adult that can choose differently and much better for herself. I won’t go too deep into this subject because it’s such a fresh and touchy subject, but I’m happy to end this year as much wiser woman… Woman that stands strong among the wolves and knows that diamonds of her soul and heart aren’t to be thrown in the pigs’ mud because they’ll never be able to appreciate them. Take notes dear readers, as you live, you learn… Sometimes, it takes a while to wake up, but oh how liberating it is!?! I will SOOOO write a book about my life someday, I just must because it will be better than any Hollywood’s blockbuster, super seller movie’s screenplay! 😀 😀 😀

And yes, this is me in a real Christmas spirit – forgiving AND showing the middle finger to everybody who deserves it while still giving my pure love. This time only to those who are truly worth it.

If you’re not a child of 70’s and 80’s like I am, then you might not know much about Pat Benatar, but please do take a listen… This woman is such an inspiration to me!

Pat Benatar – Hell is for children video

“Hell Is For Children”

They cry in the dark, so you can’t see their tears
They hide in the light, so you can’t see their fears
Forgive and forget, all the while
Love and pain become one and the same
In the eyes of a wounded child

Because Hell, Hell is for children
And you know that their little lives can become such a mess
Hell, hell is for children
And you shouldn’t have to pay for your love
With your bones and your flesh

It’s all so confusing, this brutal abusing
They blacken your eyes, and then apologize
Be daddy’s good girl, and don’t tell mommy a thing
Be a good little boy, and you’ll get a new toy
Tell grandma you fell off the swing

Because Hell, Hell is for children
And you know that their little lives can become such a mess
Hell, hell is for children
And you shouldn’t have to pay for your love
With your bones and your flesh
No, Hell is for children

Hell, Hell is for Hell
Hell is for Hell, Hell is for children

Hell, Hell is for Hell
Hell is for Hell, Hell is for children

Hell, Hell is for Hell
Hell is for Hell, Hell is for children

Hell is for children
Hell is for children

Good for you! I guess I had similar wake up call few years ago. I learned to say f**k you to people, who are unfair to. In a way I don’t like it, because now people call me a difficult person, but it helps me to like myself, when I say my honest opinion and don’t hide it.

Kako sam ti puno puta napisala, bezvremenski si mi lijepa <3

I say.. you go girl! It’s very important for your own happiness and mental wellbeing to get rid of people who use, betray, abuse and/or hurt you! Like you, I’m far too trusting and forgiving.. and I know that giving that proverbial middle finger is quite hard to do. Especially to people that you’ve known for a long time! All the best! 🙂

Looking great in this casual outfit, btw! 🙂

A friend betraying you is one of the worse things that can happen I think. Good on you for getting over it and moving on and not dwelling on it. Hope you have a love Christmas
