Even though we’ve entered a month of August, it’s still not too late to shop the hottest Summer items such as floral rompers! One of my favourite pieces and the ones I get most use out of each Summer are either long or short rompers. Continue Reading…
Cracking the code… We all change and evolve… We’re all different person than the one we’ve been a year ago. I truly believe that I have also lived at least couple of “past lives” and that I will again come back to this Earth in the future in one form or another. You don’t need to be spiritual or even agree with me on this, but don’t you think that a thought of something that was can be given a whole new form and life? Continue Reading…
One of my favourite sections on the blog besides my weekly outfits and mumblings is this one, “Visit Helsinki”! If you’re new to my blog, then you might not be familiar with these posts which are a mini guide to (mostly) Helsinki’s restaurants’ scene, presenting you my new and old favourite spots in town, places to stay at such as hotels like Kamp, places to check out etc. Continue Reading…
Give the woman a right pair of shoes and she’ll get her inner “little girl” come out! Ok, I just made this up, but that’s how I feel each time I get a new pair of shoes, namely shoes from Flattered. I have already previously written about these high quality, comfy and always so trendy and adorable shoes brand from Sweden, so check out posts about them here and here. Continue Reading…
Before I continue with couple of more posts about my trip (holidays) to Croatia, I would like to throw in this Summery outfit in the mix. I have returned back to Helsinki and I must say that I was afraid if I was going to experience a big temperature shock since the difference in the weather is huge and we’re talking about a whole 20 Celsius degrees less than it was in Croatia during my stay there.
Hygge, a Norwegian word for “wellbeing” or in my “books” known as hedonism! 🙂 I guess that by now, everybody has heard about Hygge and an art of living in a cosy, high quality, self loving way. At first I thought that the word was silly and all those books which were being sold out on “how to hygge” were too hipster. I gave the whole wellbeing movement a second thought and I have realised that leading hygge way of life is one of the best things you can do for yourself! Continue Reading…
Summer in Croatia has been such a blissful experience! I have loved soaking up the sun rays for the whole month of June. It has rained only once and really shortly, so there is nothing I could complain about. I was in a HUGE need of such a great holiday where I could completely just relax, switch out and dream away my days by the beach, laying down, swimming, reading some books or just meditating while enjoying the sound of the waves and seagulls. Finding a perfect pair of shoes is very hard for me. Unlike most women, I actually DREAD shopping for shoes. Jewellery and bags are something I love and will never think twice when investing in them, but shoes… Oh my, such a nightmare. I’m a tall woman with a large feet ( US 11/UK9) and this combination makes it almost impossible to find great quality, stylish and elegant shoes that I’m looking for.
No alarm clock ringing… I’m slowly waking up naturally and making my way out of the bed to the kitchen. I’m putting my water to warm up and cutting up the lemon. I’m opening the windows and the sun shines beautifully, birds are chirping, pigeons are gagging and the locals are having random conversations just under the window. Continue Reading…
How to get back into balance? I’ll tell you how! Just do the opposite from what brought you to misbalance. To be honest, before leaving to my Croatian holidays, I was at the very, very, VERY thin line of having a major burn out followed “nicely” along with a big feeling of anxiety…
