Perfection? Why the heck didn’t I realised SOONER that such thing does not exist and that trying to chase it and become it will only take you to the darkest places, tear your soul apart and make you completely loose the sight of what matters and what’s real?!
Seeing that you have fell in love with my first post in new series of “Visit Helsinki” posts, I’m continuing by presenting you another gem and a “must” spot when visiting Helsinki. Being born in Russia and half Russian from my mother’s side, the respect for Russian culture, food and traditions has been deeply instilled in me. I have always loved Russian cuisine but due to me growing up in Croatia, the only time I got a chance to eat amazing Russian food was when I would visit my grandparents in Moscow, once or twice a year.
Ding-ding! Alarm wakes me up at 7:15 am. I’m having hard times to open my eyes and get out of the bed. “Oh, but you do need to wake up Nata, otherwise the little one won’t make it to her kindergarten in time.” Darn it, ok, I’ll get up, just that I first check through Instagram a little bit. 😀 After two reminder wake up calls, I finally get up and storm off to the kitchen to make breakfast, wake up the little one, get her ready for the kindergarten and wish her a great day as she takes off. This is how all of my mornings start during the working week. Do I even need to mention how much I appreciate laid-back and no alarm clock weekends?
I love Helsinki! Period! 🙂 This city is a little gem in North of Europe and I feel that it somehow get’s “lost” in between Denmark, Sweden and Russia. Only for the past couple of years is that I can see more and more tourists coming and staying in Helsinki, not just passing through/ having a layover.
Autumn? Is that you? Most definitely yes and I’m loving it! The most beautiful Autumn that I have ever experienced in my life was here in Helsinki. Last year’s Autumn was simply magical, the whole city was covered with gorgeous Autumn colours and it was a pure joy to walk in the city’s parks and pick up the fallen leaves, bring them home and then use them as a DIY for home decor, painting project with my daughter and similar.
Is it Friday afternoon already? Oh yes it is and I’m very happy that the weekend is here. I def. need two days to organise myself and put my schedule for the next week in order. I have so much coming/ happening this month which is also my birthday month! Yay! 😀
Fantastic Wednesday is in front of us dear people so let’s get the best out of it. I have this incredibly big and positive fighting spirit/ mode going on and right now, nothing seems difficult or impossible to go through with.
Good morning my dear readers! Here’s a very important post that I’ve been very much looking forward to publish. I had a wonderful chance to collaborate with one of the gigantic and very respected names in Finnish design. AARIKKAÂ is irreplaceable name in Finnish design history and continues to be one of the most important “labels” that Finland is known for and all of the tourist are shopping for when bringing a souvenir or a special gift back home with them.
Wooosh! That’s the sound of this week flying by! It’s been a very intensive week and I’m barely holding all of the “hooks” in my hands. There’s so much to do, work on, fulfil and I’m not even going to start with complaining on how my flat looks like a whole zoo of animals ran through it… Several times! 😀
Good morning world! I’m in a terrible rush today, so I’ll keep this post short. I hope that your weekend was nice and that you got to do everything that you’ve intended to.
