Perfect coat

Looking for a perfect coat is never easy, at least not in my case. I’m very specific about what I want and I can’t always find exactly what I’m looking for. Perfect coat needs to fit me just the way I like it: not be too tight and structured but not either be too loose and give me the feeling of a “tent” rather than the outerwear. 

Perfect coat should also be in one of my favourite colours and those are burgundy, black and camel, it should be a combination of great materials and a timeless piece which will always be “in fashion”, non dependent on the quickly changing styles and trends.

Even if all of the mentioned requirements are met, I always have issues with the length of the sleeves. I’m a very tall girl and I have realised a long time ago that not many brands and designers understand that us tall girls would like to cover that part of our arms from just under the elbow to the wrists too. 😀

How does your perfect coat look like? Did you find one for Fall and Winter? I’m absolutely in love with my burgundy coat and I can’t wait to get a good, long weave out of it. I feel very elegant and somewhat Parisienne while wearing it, even though my main inspiration for this outfit was Anastasia, the Russian Tzar times princess. 🙂

My Monday has been a moody one, just like the Helsinki weather, but I have no time to let it get to me. Despite the awkward mood, I have just returned from one trip and taking off to another tomorrow. There’s so much to do and so much to look forward to.

My birthday is coming closer and closer… I’m not ready to meet the number 30 just yet but I might have to just embrace it already and find out if it’s true that saying which goes like: “Life just begins when you turn 30.”
