Friday always seems to come faster than I’m ready for it! They say that the older you get, the days seem to fly by in a blink of an eye and I… I have to agree with this theory. I can’t believe that end of the year is here and that we have experienced the first snow already AND the festive season is in it’s full swing! Pre-Christmas parties are taking place “left and right”, the city has been decorated in Christmas ornaments and lights… Some people have even put up their Christmas trees!!
Good Sunday morning my dear readers! It’s time for a third post in my “Sunday cafe” series! I’m happy to introduce you every few weeks to young, inspiring and creative minds which I’m proud to call my friends. After very well accepted posts with two gorgeous girlfriends , Rita and Katherine, it’s turn to balance it all well with a masculine addition – Leo! Leo will present himself properly on his own in the questionnaire below, but I’d like to say a few words as an introduction of this lovely gentleman.
He is one of those people whom I met only short time ago but “hit it off” instantly and feel as if I’ve known him for many years. I feel that as I grow older, I don’t make new friendships that easily anymore, but when I do recognise an alike mind and soul, I will always find “space” for those in my life… So, meet Mr. Leo!
This blog started years ago as a fun place where I’ve been just sporadically publishing my outfits with almost no text at all or just a few lines and additional photos from my everyday life, but nothing too “constructive” or with any other point than having some sort of online diary and leaving it to the Internet universe to discover my blog and engage or follow if people wanted to. I didn’t put much thought into this whole “blogging” thing up until 2 years ago when I have come to terms that I care about this blog too much to let it go and that I want it to be more than some online diary which is just out there, in the sea of 1 million other active and nonactive, similar blogs.
Good Sunday my dear readers and welcome to a new cycle of posts on my blog, “Sunday cafe”! I’ve been living in Finland for almost 9 years and thought this time I have met many wonderful, inspiring individuals and creatives whom have impressed me with their personalities, work, etc. I wanted to start something new on the blog, so since I see L’art of fashion as a place where I like to inspire, share and bring always something beautiful to an “ordinary”. I thought that a sit down chat with a likeminded individuals would be something that would interest you too…
Good Monday morning everybody! How was your weekend? I hope that you had as much fun and great times as I did. I feel that I was all over the place ever since September started and I’ve been very happy and thankful for that, because I’ve met some incredibly amazing and inspiring people, I’ve spent lots of time with friends, attended some cool events and did tons of work as well as my conceptual photography shooting/ planning and agreeing on the future shoots. I’m set on having an exhibition next year in Spring and if everything goes well and as planned, creating it will keep me very occupied and hopefully on the top of my creative game until the end of this year.
We’re couple of days into a new month, so happy September to all of my readers! September always marks the end of Summer and beginning of Fall in my “calendar” and with that in mind, I can not escape thinking about the final 4 months of this year. Can you believe it? Only that little is left of 2016 and I intend on giving my best to those final 4 months before embarking onto a whole new year, some new wishes, promises, dreams…
Being of a different kind… Let me tell you, not an easy path to follow. Ever since my birth, I was of a different kind and it took me a loooong time to recognise and then accept this. While I always knew deep down inside who I am, what I feel, think and what I want, I had hard times accepting the fact that being of a different kind means walking many different roads often alone than with a company.
Good Monday morning everybody! I’m happy to start a new week presenting you my new Zaful dress. I’ve been approached by kind people at Zaful whom wanted me to choose a piece of clothing and as soon as I saw this dress, I knew that I wanted to have it. It’s so “me” since I’m a big sucker for anything feminine and floral.
Good Friday or shall I write FRI-YAY everybody?! 🙂 I’m bringing you yet another” 5 for Friday” post. I’m kind of glad that this week is going to it’s end, the beginning of August caught me off guard and it was kind of a weird week, lots of work and errands, too little sleep and missing a good weather.
